"The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. My stay included breakfast, which was available between 7am - 10am. It meant that I didn't have to get up too early for it.
The spa and pool were great, very clean and also had amenities such as snacks, water and hot drinks. They were both open for very long hours so i was able to use them after I returned to the hotel after my day outs.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's in middle of Bad Aussee, just the spa and pool is worth going to!"

"Received an upgraded room, very large, bed was comfortable. Large jetted tub, although there is distance between the toilet and bedroom, there is no door. Service is excellent, supper was tasty, buffet breakfast is sufficient with breads, meats, cheese, cereals. Outdoor space is pretty with trees and outdoor lights for the evening. Minor issues: The gym is very small, does not function well. Coffee is not 24 hours a day as indicated so if you are an early morning person, you must wait to get it. A fine place to stay!"
"2nd time I have stayed at this hotel. Its OK great location, Spa is excellent. I just don't get a friendly feel its a bit sterile. I went onto Garmish and within seconds i felt welcome, every member of the team smiling and being really welcoming and happy to help and offer advice. I didn't feel this at this hotel. Feedback would be to focus on customer service and interaction."

"I booked 5 rooms at this location (9 people) based SOLELY on the fact that you advertise air conditioning not only on the main page on hotels.com, but also on the room description. We had a very short stay where sleep was incredibly important due to a brutal drive. We checked in at 04:00 and out at 10:30. Due to the extreme heat, no one was able to get a proper night's sleep as a result of this. We opened the windows but the sun was already starting to come up when we got there and there were construction workers outside of the windows that were incredibly loud for 8am onwards . If there was air conditioning as advertised, I am sure this wouldn't have been an issue as we could have had the windows closed and the blinds down to keep out the noise and the sun, and eventually, the heat of the morning.
There were other, less expensive rooms we could have chosen for our break but chose yours because you advertise, very clearly, that you have air conditioning.

"I booked 1 room in Hotel Sonnenhof on 16th February, via Hotels.com, for a stay commencing on 28th May.
Hotel sent me a message on 27th May that I was not in Hotel Sonnenhof in Timelkam, but at an apartment in Lenzing, 4.5km further away. No pre-warning was given, no rationale for the change in location, no option to cancel or reduction in rate was offered.
I was very upset when I received the message on 27th May (the day before I was due to stay at the hotel). It was really inconvenient to be in a different location from my friend, and required that I drive back and forth from Timelkam to Lenzing multiple times. As I was only informed the day before the stay was due to start, I had no option to cancel and rebook elsewhere as nothing else was available.
In addition, the apartment was in a poor location, not of a good quality, and the kitchen crockery was incomplete.
The hotel reception was very slow to respond to communication, and only available in the mornings.
Do not stay here - very poor service."

It's true that the furniture and decor are a little old-fashioned, but everything is sparkling clean, beds are comfortable, and rooms have huge balconies as well.
