"It's quiet and has a nice view. Also, there is a shuttle bus, so it is very good to go to Tokushima Station. Dinner and breakfast are very good. Hot springs are good, and ice cream after hot springs is good. Recommend."

"It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Despite being a single traveller, all services were impeccable, especially the breakfast and dinner service which is second to none. I was served the best meals during my 5 day stay. The hot springs were also very satisfying and I would definitely return."

"Close to the center where you can find many restaurants. My wife and I stayed but the room size as well as the semi-double bed was a bit tight...you get what you paid for."

"It's a bit old in some places, but perfectly functional. Rooms are a little bigger than typical Japanese business hotels. The public bath and pool are nice conveniences!"

"We choose this hotel because of the location and indeed, it is practically next to everything. Room and bed are comfortable, staff friendly, 7-11 connected at the ground level. "

"I stayed at hotel Taiyo Noen for one night, after arriving in Tokushima late at night. The staff at the hotel was really nice. Shoutout to the Nepalese gentlemen who spoke English, helped me, and made my stay even better. Breakfast was really delicious and filling. The location is also very convenient. I would stay there again."

"This was the only 'reasonable' option in Tokushima during GW as everything else was either fully booked or 5 times its usual price. It's a typical J business hotel (bit quirky with the farm theme) with small rooms, no views etc. Breakfast was surprisingly ok, location not too bad and there was also free rental bikes as an added bonus. Decent option during major Japanese holidays but would obviously go elsewhere outside gw or obon."

"Room smelled bad. Didn’t ask to change too tired. Breakfast buffet was good but 30% or so of the cost of the room. The staff other than the front desk was amazing. I don’t think I’ve had anyone so willing to go the extra mile. "

"Property is very accessible and conveniently located adjacent to Tokushima Bus Station, which is the main congregation point for all local buses in the area.
Let's be honest, you shouldn't spend much time in your hotel room when you are in a foreign country, you should be exploring and getting a feel for the culture."
"The hotel is beautiful. The staff is excellent. The onsen is the best we have encountered. We used it 3 times! The little convenience store is not great but the airport is close and the shuttle is free! The nearby Sanuki Kodomonokuni was SO MUCH FUN for the whole family and it is FREE!!! We could have spent two days just hanging out there doing the many activities! The breakfast was repetitive but had a good selection and it had things we all enjoyed! The airport has good restaurants if you don’t want to make your way back into town (where there are wonderful restaurants and of course the beautiful Ritsurin Gardens). The car dealership next door has a better vending machine than the hotel for soda pop, but the vending machines in the “resting room” (connect to the unseen change rooms) had good options, and a whole machine of ice cream."
