- You need a car. The property is quite far up a steep hill with no pavements so if you have a pram or need help with walking this probably isn’t the place for you. Very few amenities nearby but this makes it a very quiet place to be which can also be good!
- Kitchen is not very well equipped. If you’re staying for more than 2 nights you’ll need to replenish toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets etc
- Weak wifi - sometimes didn’t work at all
- Our water was turned off for a few hours one morning with no notice.

"This really was a most magical place to visit, the peace and calm of the area was just what I needed after hectic working weeks! I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy more of the spa, the village is hard to get to, and very small but the hotel makes up for that. The night we stayed there was a lightning storm and the hotel came to collect us from the local pizza restaurant which was so kind! A lovely places with lovely staff, cannot recommend highly enough! You can’t really appreciate the beauty of this place unless you stay here. The panoramic views of the mountains and picturesque little villages that surround you will take your breath away. The view is only equalled by the hospitality and work ethic of the host who will go over and above to insure your stay is perfect. Dinner there was delicious and they were easily willing and able to accommodate my wife’s celiac condition by offering gluten free pasta in addition to the regular menu. I will look forward to a day I might be able to come back to this little Heaven on earth. "
