"Stayed for 8 nights and used this a a home base for visiting family and friends in the area. The room was clean and large and the staff friendly. I wanted to cook meals there so it may have been helpful to have more or larger pans! Also directions on using the cookstove but I had a worker come and help me, very friendly! Would definately stay again."
"The entire property appeared to be clean and in good maintenance. My room was very well appointed and surprisingly large. I got the accessible room, and it was quite large with ample space to easily maneuver. There was a safe in the room, however, it was on the floor under the table, which made it inaccessible/unusable. There was no key for the safe in the room. I don't know if you need to get a key from the front desk, but since I was physically unable to use it, I did not ask. The shower had a lot of grab bars installed and it was very comfortable to use. The added seat made the shower very safe as well. Overall, I was very happy with the room. The staff was amazing and very pleasant. We were greeted with a smiling staff member at each interaction. I highly recommend this property. "
"It was quite. I slept really well. I felt really safe here. No one appeared to be "living" here if you know what I mean.
The ONLY thing I didn't like was their cable. It didn't appear to be digital and the screen said 480p, but plenty of channels.
I would stay again."
"The staff was very pleasant. It is an older hotel but the bed was very comfortable and a decent size room. The only strange thing was the window looked out into the lobby and directly into the rooms across the way so drapes were drawn. The bar (Tanglewoods?) was great the bartender Mindy was so personable we stayed for awhile because of her. Had a good time. We had a dinner on the train in town or we would have tried the food it looked like a good menu overall it was a nice room and fun place reasonably priced "
"We held our annual st jude event here. It was perfect. The lobby was great for grtting together. We brought in our food and raffles. Everyone was wonderful and ended up making 4100 for st jude"
"We try to stay here whenever we visit our family in East Lansing. Mary is the best at the front desk. She always has a smile and makes you feel right at home. Great location for us to access highways and provides easy travel to any of our destinations. "
"Excellent staff, check in staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful. I asked for a blow dryer as I had forgotten mine and two seconds later she provided me with one!"
"I have stayed at this property more than 8 times in the last three months and everytime the room is clean and smells good. Towels were thick and fluffy and the shower soaps were well stocked. Even though the property is older and the carpet in the hallways needs to be replaced, the room itself stands out much better. Clearly a case of don't judge the well travelled areas as what your room is going to be like. The staff is friendly and management is always smiling and inviting. "
