"This is a magical place. The staff and owner made us feel like family. Every detail is perfection from the design of the rooms, to the public spaces which are inviting. The park-like grounds are stunning with many little seating areas to escape to. The daily breakfast is delicious and dinner in the restaurant is first rate. It is a quiet, peaceful place and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. We would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and would stay again if we can make it back to Punta del Este. "
"Play Vik has the perfect location and the architecture is really spectacular in this particular setting. However, the hotel really needs lots of TLC. It is looking VERY tired. Outdoor and indoor sofas need to be re-uphostered and or cleaned. Screens need to be changed. The plaster from our sink was broken. The corner of the vanity was damaged by water and the veneer peeling … Need i say more? (I have take photos). No bathrobes in the room which is too sparsely furnished. Chair in our room needs to be cleaned or re-upholstered too. No coffee machines are provided in the room although we did ask for one and they did provide one for us in the end as breakfast starts at 8:00am! We were very few guests at the hotel but staff was not particularly attentive. Food was okay. Compared to other international hotels of the same category it failed to meet epectations in both service and property. "

Facility as a whole including rooms are extremely clean, and comfortable, the food is at another level of superb, and gives that extra touch of an exclusive bed & breakfast vibe, not to mention all the fun one can have with the LGTBQ family; clothing optional. Cleanliness in public areas was awful. No attention to detail such as refinishing the bathroom wall where a plumbing connection had been changed. I had a completely broken closet door in my room and a constantly leaking hair conditioner dispenser in the shower, creating a slimy puddle. The water for the Jacuzzi was a little more than warm but not hot. Breakfast isn't served until 9:00 and the in-room coffee is instant. Would not reccomend."

Áreas comunes muy buenas y bien equipadas, pero en nuestro caso el problema grave fue la ventilación, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, el baño no tiene ninguna ventilación (sin ventanas y extractor dañado), cortina de baño de tela , lo que aumentaba aún más la humedad en el baño. Y la ventana de la habitación casi no circulaba aire. Solo por este último punto dudaría en regresar "
