"We opted for demi pension which was really good value. Room was very clean and comfortable although a little snug. Restaurant was excellent with lots of choice, menu plus A La Carte. Breakfast also excellent and service was superb. Only disappointment was car parking - from the description we had assumed parking was on site and secure not across the road on the open verge. Very quiet area, opposite a canal with good walks nearby."

"We turned up at the hotel for a 3nights extended bank holidays weekend just to find out that the hotel was privatised and fully booked with nowhere to sleep in town or in the neighbouring villages !!! Owner refused to speak to Hotels.com since apparently he has only signed a contract with Expedia (but didnât acknowledge it was the same company!) and refused to speak English... Hotels.com was not able to sort it out not find anywhere else and we had to drive back home 3hrs in the other direction...

"Place is in a sorry condition, as soon as you hit the stairs you notice a weird stench, the building is old, I can hear the neighbors every time they walk around or flush the toilet. Not sure what was happening during my stay but there were doors being slammed repeatedly all afternoon. However, the place is equipped to accommodate cyclists and their bikes in the form of a dedicated secure storage space. For the price I would have expected the room to be better equipped and the place to be better maintained "
