"A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. Would highly reccomend a visit to Parkes Castle followed by a boat ride on Lough Gill stopping at Dooley Park https://roseofinnisfree.com/ . The house is fantastic location to Sligo town, strandhill, rosses point, just under an hour to Knock airport, 2 hours from Galway. The house has a fully stocked shop around the corner (5 minute walk) as well as a take away chinese and kebab/pizza shop which came in handy for quick grab and go meals. Great, clean accomodation with essentials provided. Marie was a delight to communicate with, friendly and super accomodating. We needed to collect the keys a bit earlier than 3 as we were due to be at a family event - even allowing my dad to use a room to change out of his airport clothes into his snazzy suit while she was still mid cleaning the rest of the house - really appreciated that! She also provided us with a hairdryer to save on our luggage space. Great hosts - we would definitely recommend and use again if we're ever back in the west coast of Ireland. Many wonderful memories made - thank you so much! "
"Not one sraff spoke to us, bot mad about it but it was chexk yourself in and i disnt know what the pool hours qere. Bot a big deal just wasnr used to this"
"The room was absolutely fabulous ( though a bit on the narrow side) and very up to date in a wholesome way and the bed was amazingly comfortable. There was nothing I could fault at all. We were able to avail of a late checkout till 1pm which was great. Our experience at the hotel was exceptional and the young man on the reception was a pure gentleman... I look forward to returning the Adress on my next visit to Sligo."
"Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring the area.
Large seaview room, very comfortable and a great bathroom.
Good on site parking.
Delicious breakfast."
"Our hosts Elspeth and Drew Vaughan were amazing. Very welcoming and informative. Some of the most pleasant and adorable hosts I’ve ever had. The area and hut were very clean and comfortable. They provided history and information about the area. Just wonderful. If I’m ever able to return to Ireland, I would definitely choose to stay here. "
"The staff at check where great, hasle free check in, very nice, there was no parking left in there car park, that was not a problem as the staff told me about car parks 2 minutes walk away, €3 parking for the day, the hotel is in a great location, its within walking distance to everything, I'll be staying again."
"This is one of those rare, exquisite properties you don't think exist anymore. The proprietor met us at the front desk, showed us to our room, which was a great price and had AMAZING views. The breakfast is hot and to order from reserved tables. It is an exceptional property in a wonderful town. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again. We are considering planning another vacation specifically to this property.
The only downside is parking. If possible, park across the street because the lot is very compact and sometimes hard to navigate. "
"Rooms are clean and updated. The beds were very comfortable. Arrived with a flat tire and the front desk staff were very helpful in calling a garage for assistance. Great location for exploring the region. "
"Perfect location for several nights as homebase for sightseeing daytrips. Cozy and great amenities, although 6 adults might be tight; 4 was comfortable (we used third bedroom for our luggage). Beautiful, tranquil setting. Plenty of bath and kitchen towels; plenty of cookware and utensils; plenty of refrigerator space; easy check-in and operation instructions. Notes: 1) Listed as 2 bathrooms on Expedia, but to clarify, it is 1 toilet room w/sink, 1 shower room w/sink; 2) Some complimentary items (tea/coffee, shampoo/bodywash, toilet paper), but it is self-catering, so plan accordingly based on length of your stay). Great visit. "
"This was the best place my wife and I have ever stayed. We also stayed at the Cabra Castle and that was also fantastic but this one was special! A 10/10"
"A short break, overall a good time had by all. However while the overall condition of the cottage was good it could have done with a real deep clean. Bedding was obviously used and the mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through it. Furniture inside also left a lot to be desired from a comfort point of view. No Wi-Fi. TV basic and small. Rooms small. But on the positive this is really well located to local amenities, fully enclosed large back garden was great for the dog. Pet friendly. If u want to have a unique farmhouse experience as to how life was them this is the place. While disappointed, still an enjoyable break. "
