"We were very happy with our stay. Breakfast was included and had everything we wanted for breakfast. There were a lot of very nice touches that made the stay great. We were given drinks vouchers to use at the bar. We went to eat at the bar. When getting drinks for our son's, they gave us a straw that you put together. Changed our son's mood as he spent the rest of lunch building the straw then drinking from it. Its these small unexpected touches that made the holiday even better."

"The place is good. The town is beautiful. You can walk from your room to water to fishing. It is close to all sightseeing point in Jervis bay."

"Friendly staff, the manager knew my name. The entire check-in was miraculously easy - Are you so&so? - Yes I am. - Welcome, here is you key, room # is to the right. That was it. Big smile from the manager lady and cannot-be-simpler blasting speed check-in bit any 4- & 5-star hotel I have been to. In other words, easy going relatable approach goes a long way. the hotel room was neet and appeared nicely renovated. All rooms are at the upper level of a big estate, which is a big dinning venue downstairs. The hotel itself is part of a vibrant local community with shops and cafes around. No noise issues in the room. 2 free vouchers for drinks at the sport bar downstairs. Nice collection of teas in the room. The room with a porch/balcony, coffee table outside and with the views on a bay. Well done, Huskisson Hotel, keep it up! "

"one downer was the fact the restaurant isn't open for dinner on a Saturday night, we had the weekend planned and dinner at this beautiful place was on the list, our fault for not looking properly? perhaps. we just assumed. luck of the draw with rooms, yes, all superior but some are better than others. needed to really look at the offerings and try to pick. saying that, we loved the room we were in it just wasn't the one in the photo we saw booking online. the dude at check-in and in the cellar door really sold the place with his enthusiasm (and his red hair) his recommendation was next time try for room. 28?"

"Location is good, across the road from the river and short drive to ocean beaches. Units have been refreshed by the addition of some newer furniture, but the units need major updates to very old and poorly maintained facilities. We had the two bedroon unit at the front of the property which had heaps of space. Only had one air conditioner in one bedroome, with no air in living, kitchen or other bedroom. No exhaust fan in bathroom, and couldn't open the window. In contrast, you couldn't lock the window in one bedroom, leaving or the kitchen, leaving the room very unsecure. Situated next door to the Shoalhaven Heads Hotel (but not managed by them anymore), you do get ambient noise coming from the outdoor dining area. There was a band playing on the Saturday night, however, they set up outside our bedroom window, so very noisy. (They were quite good, so I didn't mind so much, but others were trying to get some sleep). If the new owners put in some care to upgrade kitchen, bathroom and general structure, this will be a phenominal property offering great comfort and location, but would only suit those not too fussy about where they stay."
