If it had not been for the very friendly manageress Erika, and some very nice fellow guests,we would have felt somewhat fleeced. There was no wildlife around the lodge, i.e. sitting on the terrace offered no viewings, even very little birdlife. Food was at best 3 star and not overly generous. Took 5 hour combo drive and had to pay for all the extras, including water. Not good value for money."

Great location to visit Chobe and Vic Falls but worth combining those and overnight in Kasane, there are tours that would allow this. Lovely area for dinner round the fire. Nice pool with view."

Ich weiß tatsächlich nicht, woher diese guten Bewertungen kommen, wir haben keine guten Erfahrungen. Das Flußufer ist nicht zu erreichen, somit wären Hippos etc allenfalls von oben zu sehen. Allerdings waren keine Tiere da, laut Mitarbeiterin sind die längst weitergezogen. Wir hatten ein kleines Häuschen, das sehr dunkel war und zudem der Geruch darin kaum auszuhalten. The location is beautiful with a lot space, out chalet was amazing (all recently renovated, along with the main building). The staff were very helpful and made extra effort to accommodate us. If you have the time, do a morning or evening boat ride to explore the river and see the banks of the national park on the other side."
"We had everything we needed, beautiful setting and area around the tent & around the lodge. We opted in for the dinner in the lodge, it was pricy, but had good choice and we even had a separate main course made for us as we are vegetarians. The manager was very friendly and had some nice short exchanges with him."
"One of the best properties I’ve stayed at recently. Exclusive, luxurious water villas with an exquisite sunset/ national park view. The staff went over and above to celebrate our 10th anniversary there. Their grand welcome and personal attention is unparalleled be it the food or service both were excellent. Everyone from the manager to the guide were knowledgeable and helpful.
They don’t leave a single detail out in making your stay perfect, from snacks for the boat ride to binoculars in the room for game drives and painting easel for relaxing late evenings.
Their water taxi/ water safari was luxurious with snacks and drinks to cool off in the evening.
The meals and massages were amazing. Can’t say enough good things about this place. 100% recommend it for groups and couples alike. Thanks Chobe for the experience! "
