"This hotel is really nice and at the top of the mountain, so you have an amazing view on Lake Garda. The rooms are clean and perfectly fine. The balconies are great. A small improvement - as a 6.2 tall (192cm), the beds were a little bit small for me. I still could sleep fine, but bigger beds would have been great."

Although the kitchen had closed we were offered some lite bites, which were perfect, as was our table by the side of the lake. "Staff were incredible, sent my parents on a trip to lake garda and they went above and beyond to help me when they ended up getting stranded due to public transport strikes etc. Really couldn't fault them, all the staff at aktiv hotel from booking to check out were fantastic! "For a 3 star hotel, this is top tier. Everything you need, closest to the lake you'll get and the bed has so far been the best during my Italy trip. It is a bit dated, but that's expected and acceptable. The price is moreso the luxury of proximity than facilities. The breakfast was as good as a 5 star hotel. Would go here again if in Malcesine."
