The casino is a plus if you like to test your luck and the dining area had good options (portions) for breakfast (did not try dinner). The hotel is 10 minutes away from the marina in Bayfield and I highly recommend the boat tour to the Apostle Islands."

"What a beautiful escape on Bayfield. My husband and I spent our days hiking, exploring the town and checking out the local ciders. It was nice to come back to an air conditioned room to relax and clean up. Highly recommend and we will.be back"

"Beautiful historic building in a beautiful setting on the south shore of Lake Superior. Walking trail along the shoreline runs right behind the hotel. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. What more can you ask?"
"The hotel was older but the rooms were remodeled. The bathroom was new and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is a restaurant/bar right behind the property which was really nice."
"This Super 8 is more of a hotel rather than motel. Very clean, staff is friendly, and breakfast was excellent, you can make your own pancakes or waffles, and they offer a variety of bread, cereals, yogurt , or hard boiled eggs. The pool area is small but clean; I enjoyed the hot tub. It's not far from Bayfield ferry station, which took us to Madeline Island."
