Our family of four arrived at the same time as a group and we were offered the options to joint their tours on an expedited schedule (four days of activities in two days). We joined them for the full day Napo tour and really enjoyed the day but we were very rushed and had no idea what activity was next. At the end of the day, the four of us were left alone at the river bank for 45 minutes waiting for he bus...

"We loved it here. Such an amazing place. It’s remote, but the signage was good and our driver found it. Probably best to get there during the day. We took a chocolate making class and went on the night walk in the jungle. It is an eco resort, so don’t expect hot showers, which is usually a deal breaker for me. But the place was so nice we were very happy we stayed here. "

"We were in Quito overnight, flying out the next morning, so we wer looking for a lower cost hotel. Tababel Land offered free pickup from the airport so was perfect for ourneeds. Small but cozy and well appointed room. Great helpon check in and in getting us a taxi in the morning. Only issue was that the phone number listed went to an odd sounding recording in Spanish. But we got connected and all ended well."

"The hotel grounds are gorgeous. Mountain views with beautiful plants and roaming llamas and peacocks. Breakfast was delicious and the playground fun for kids. The only down side are the beds were very uncomfortable in our room. If you like an extra firm mattress this is the place for you"

Very safe location, I was able to walk around late at night without worries. The best part was the excellent service from the front desk staff. Extremely accommodating person at the front desk who was very responsive to our needs and gave a personalized experience. I have managed hospitality and travelled extensively and this stay I received some of the best service I’ve ever had. "
"It’s close to the airport which is very convenient for travelers arriving early in the morning or late at night. The front desk does not operate 24/7 and you have to ring a bell on the street to get access to the property. The restroom was not clean and it looked like the common areas have not been cleaned. We found empty bottles of liquor in the common kitchen/living room area. "

There are many activities available and all were fun. Some of the things we enjoyed were a difficult hike, a night walk, beer and chocolate tastings, wine and cheese tastings, and candle making. The food is fantastic. The fireplaces are lit in the evening and our family loved sitting in front of the fire. "
