Cattleman's Country Motor Inn & Serviced Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"Had trouble finding my room (48 in corner). Light outside room on, most of night. Didn't know how to turn off. Everything else great. Have recommended to my family and friends."
"Room was off streets by a way so made it a very quiet stay. Reverse cycle was clean and provided heating for the frosty night very quickly and operated quietly.
Very friendly and helpful reception staff.
Hours reception is open is great. We only decided we needed to stay in town about 6pm so having till 10pm to check in allowed us to grab a coffee, something plain to eat (as not up to restaurant meals such as Thai food from the motel restaurant), and take a break while out booking went through.
Our quiet room offered space but kept cosy with a/c heating on.
Ours was a pleasantly peaceful and comfortable short stay.
"
"There was a bad sewage smell in the bathroom so we let the reception staff know and they were brilliant, moved us to another room and gave complimentary buffet breakfast for all 4 of us. Staff are so friendly and accommodating."
"Value for money compared to most other places I've stayed in the Hunter. The Lane Retreat is at the upper end, however the provided breakfasts, the view overlooking the ranges and vineyards, and the ease of a receptionless checkin, makes this the go-to for our future stays."
"Older style establishment that has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. Lovely cooked breakfast included was a bonus. Lovely quaint town with heaps of history. Would definitely stay again "
"A great experience at this very modern hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast options with very friendly and helpful staff.
A lovely spacious room with modern conveniences."
"Great place to stay. So quiet, always clean and smells fresh, great sized rooms with comfy beds and friendly staff. Highly recommend and I won't stay elsewhere when working in the Hunter."
"Great convenient place to stay when travelling to the area for work. Good set up with fridge and microwave and a kettle making it comfortable enough to not have to leave the room and face the cold night air! Room was comfortable and will be returning when I am back travelling within the region."
"Newly renovated in a stunning modern Mediterranean - the kind of luxury you'd expect from an expensive boutique hotel in Sydney. Staff were impeccable. Located a little outside town centre, but will definitely choose to stay again. "
"We have never travelled that far and it was so lovely to come to a very clean room and wonderful receptionist we would certainly come back if we were to visit the zoo again "
