Location was good. In the centre and walkable to most place. The room was very clautrophobic. The reception staff were difficult at imes. ON checkout I remembered I had left a bag in the room but she wouldnt let me go back to get it. And I only reached the desk late due to a huge queue.

I only stayed one night, but it was an amazing experience overall. My room was in a newer section of the hotel across the courtyard. Because of this change, I was upgraded to a larger room. The bed was extremely comfortable with many pillows. The hotel is within walking distance of the train and bus stations. There's a great bar and excellent dining options. Great view of the river. Finally, many thanks to Veronika for her tireless efforts to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Will be back!

The Riverside spa hotel, from the girl who checked me in, to the staff behind the bar, all the reception staff,and the ones working in the spa. They were all very helpful.The spa area and swimming pool was the reason I chose this hotel. It was excellent. I have no complaints

Perfect location! Has tram and bus stops nearby. The central market is within walking distance and so is the Latvia National Library whic is just across the river. And everything in the old town is walkable. The view of the river was amazing! Best view not just at sunset, but also at night and in the morning. The room size was adequate and it was spotless.
