The hotel is undeniably pretty and located in a charming area, which made exploring the neighborhood very enjoyable. However, the room itself left a lot to be desired. It was extremely small, and the bathroom setup was quite awkward — the shower was essentially just a tiled section next to the toilet with a curtain separating the two. When not in use, the curtain actually rested on the toilet, which felt far from ideal. My boyfriend and I are both over 6 feet tall and felt very cramped in some areas with the low ceilings and archways.
We were placed in a first-floor room, which unfortunately meant a lot of noise. Every morning around 6 a.m., we were woken up by garbage trucks or street sweepers, and pedestrian noise continued throughout the day and night. To make matters worse, our room was right next to the elevator, so we heard it (and other guests using it) at all hours of the night.
While the location and aesthetic have potential, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for peace and quiet or a more spacious and comfortable room.
