Mizata was a perfect retreat for the end of my travels in El Salvador. Beautiful property for guests staying overnight alongside the popular Nawi Beach Club. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The jungle bungalow was very clean and spacious. I wished I could stay longer.

Beautiful place to stay, staff made it even better. Everyone was attentive, kind and helpful. The treehouses were exactly as described. Not much to do around the resort but they do offer daily activities/trips…..if you’re only staying for 2-3 days there is really no reason to leave.

I personally had a hard time checking in. The hotel was overbooked. I reserved 2 months prior to traveling and they couldn’t find my reservation despite emails from Mizata welcoming 3 days prior to check in. The hotel is for adults but Expedia did not list it as adults only, my reservation listed my kids and their ages. My rental car was scratched while parked on property. Food was great, bartenders and servers where really nice and helpful. Despite the confusion and the waiting around we were able to enjoy the hotel, hotel room was nice and clean and we were able to enjoyed the pool across from Nawi beach house all to ourselves since everyone was at the bar and beach side pools. We didn’t end up staying the night due to personal decisions but our room and beds were really comfortable.

I love the decor around the property very modern chic. Tropical vibes the food was priced reasonably. It drive is kinda long and you pass 5 tunnels that was scary. It worth the drive it beautiful. The staff is amazing!

Mizata is like the VIP section for the Nawi Beach House. The better pool , bar, and restaurant are all on the Nawi Beach House which other people can use by just buying a day pass. The pool on the Mizata side leaves much to be desired in terms of amenities, view and service. I stayed at a Jungle Tree House and the room was very nice. However, I found service to be a bit lacking for a property like this. It is also the first time staff refuses to give me an extra towel so that was dissappointing. THe resort is actually in a little town.

The staff was great, Danny and Daniel at front desk were both pleasant and warm. Edgardo at Nawi was also great. Other than that, this place is overpriced, dirty and not ready for guests. The communication sucks, the girl at front desk said she would email me a breakdown of my bill which I have not received. I dont think they understand English well because they couldnt fix our bills and now I cant even check it because I havent received it after 3 days. We asked to pay for a room upgrade but they didnt give us the lightning deals they advertised and charged regular prices. Also, even if the room is ready they wont let you go in the room until exactly 4pm or even past 4pm. They are still under construction and there is dust and lumber everywhere as you try to use the facilities and even attend yoga classes. The music at the restaurant is too noisy and loud. The treehouse is pretty to look at but its not liveable. The water supply is not freshwater and it has a salty taste so even showering and brushing your teeth. Then the sink has a sewage smell from the ptrap. The pool also didnt loon clean. Overall, we spent almost $700 at this place and it was the biggest rip off of our trip at El Salvador.

This hotel is a true gem. Everything about it is awesome. The beach and mountain views are spectacular. Great amenities, fantastic food, super friendly and helpful staff, awesome music, etc. They also run really amazing and inspiring community initiatives. I highly recommend!

Aesthetically great property. Many challenges during the stay. Original room we booked had a leak in It and wasn't notified until hours after arriving and relaxing on property, they wanted us to downgrade and be credited the difference while offering massages as a courtesy, instead we upgraded. The upgrade was magnificent until later that evening when It became windy and the gust of window knocked our door in and came off the hinges. We were then moved to another room minutes into getting ready for dinner, got to the new room but was met with droplets for water pressure. Yes the hotel accommodated us and had maintenance get us a new shower head with better pressure but It delayed our dinner reservation. Would I stay here again? Hell yeah. The property is amazing, quiet during the week, lively on the weekends with a DJ. The 9 course omakasa experience was truly delightful please book this,they have a 7course option as well. Although I experienced different challenges, the staff was friendly, accommodating and worked hard! So many places to capture good content if that's your thing!
