Centralized Airconditioning System

I would characterize my stay at GrandView Hotel & Convention Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina as quite disappointing. I came at a time when the seasons were changing from winter to spring. Now, I stayed for a week and half of that week was disastrous. I cannot stay in a hot or warm room because I have a heart condition and I always ensure that the hotel I pick has airconditioning. It was annoying when they have these airconditioning dials in every room, but basically they are there to regulate the room temperature and not really for A/C. My room was like a sauna for the first night which made me just open the windows because I can't sleep and it's already 4am. I complained thinking this was just a broken A/C to be checked and repaired. The next night they said it was already fixed, but nothing still the same. I couldn't sleep until 4am. I spoke with someone at the reception and they told me that the building's HVAC is centralized, so in colder months it's all just heating and no cooling! I told them I have this health condition that I cannot be in a warm room and their answer to me was pretty much dishearting for me to repeat here. They said I can just turn off the AC/heating and just open the windows! How ridiculous of an answer is that from their management! The room also doesn't have any refrigerator, so you cannot have cold drinks such as cold water in a hot day of walking around and exploring the city. There are no complimentary water bottles either and no coffee just

I spent a week in July 2024 during my vacation in Buenos Aires. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. It's just a few minutes walk from Casa Rosada, the center of the Argentine government. The subway line is very close and easily accessible, almost in front of the hotel. The negative point is the low diversity of restaurants around the hotel. However, the hotel has a good restaurant that offers a la carte dinner and a delicious breakfast.

Most of their staff were friendly, however, our dinner were delivered uncovered from the 2nd floor where the kitchen is to our 6th floor room. Maintenance service would not come to clean hour bathroom & pickup trash. She came after she was pushed to. Bed sheets with visible stains upon arrival. Curtains need to be washed.

O Hotel tem um prédio novo o que é raro na Argentina, mas tem péssimos serviços, excetuando a recepção que é bem atenciosa o restante é muito ruim, os apartamentos não são bem limpos apesar das camas bem arrumadas. O pior café da manhã da nossa vida é o desse hotel, é ruim ao extremo, falta de tudo, baixa qualidade dos alimentos, falta café, falta leite, demoram muito a repor apesar de ter poucos itens disponíveis. Tem uma salada de fruta muito RARA, ela é feita de maça e laranja, simplismente HORRÍVEL. O PIOR SERVIÇO DO MUNDO, um colega pediu um omelete que pago a parte, levou tanto tempo que achamos que o pessoal da cozinha estava correndo atrás da galinha para tirar o ovo.

La verdad es que el servicio del estacionamiento fue lo que lo arruinó todo ya que el general el hotel esta bien. Estuve hospedado de Miercoles a Miercoles de la siguiente semana.
