My girl and I took a family trip to explore the area. This was the cheapest we could find at the time, and it sort of lived up to its price-point. No problems at check-in, the staff are very friendly and accomodating. As soon as I walked into the room, I was blasted with humidity. They had not run the A/C to dehumidify the room. There was clearly mildew in the carpet, so I asked for a change of room, which the staff happily accomodated so that they could later rebook the room, as I found out. The second room was cleaner, but the bathroom had at least 3 spiders that didn't bother me. At least the microwave and mini-fridge worked. The bed sheets were clean and very comfprtable, but the bath towels were dirty before we even touched them. The view is really pretty and the place has its own fire ring you can use, but you have to buy your own wood. My last complaint is the angle of the drive-way, which is pretty common for many of the hotels/motels along the street. If you have a low-profile car, you have to come in at an angle to prevent scraping or else try the Quality Inn down the street.
