Very walkable from train station. Turn the corner and we were on a pedestrian thoroughfare to the canal. So many eateries. And a beautiful sunset on the water way.

Would stay here again! Great boutique hotel!

Absolutely loved this hotel and its location. Room was basic but very clean. Breakfast was a typical European meal but very yummy. Service at the desk and at breakfast were exceptional.

Our room was too small. There was no place to sit but at one tiny desk or on the edge of the bed. The shower stall was so narrow that one could not bend down to touch my toes. Literally had to open the shower door to finish washing.

2N couple get-away

Safe and great location within the center, just about 8mins walk to Central Train and Bus Stations. 24-Hr reception with free Coffee/Tea at Dining Area. Clean and Comportable room size. Free BF with loads to choose however the fresh pastries caught my attention. High customer service from reception to kitchen staffs - Victoria, Pele, Ester and another lady from kitchen. High salute to Silvia and Marco both from reception, super helpful with queries and directions...extending efforts to fulfill your needs. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay back if given a chance.

The hotel has clearly undergone recent renovation and it has brought new life into a historical lodging. Staff are very helpful and my room was contemporary in style with a great size bathroom for single room. Breakfast choice is extensive and very good. Tea and coffee self service available 24/7 in the breakfast room - super.

It is an older hotel but the rooms are spacious, well appointed, spotlessly clean and with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is excellent. A couple of improvements I would suggest. There was a window above the sink and no mirror. When shaving I had to turn 180 degrees and use the mirror above the toilet. Also, the lights in the room are only on when the key card is inserted in the slot just inside the door. There appears to be no way of turning lights on and off independently so at bedtime, you have to remove the card from the slot and all the lights go out. In the night, if you want to turn on a light, you have to insert the card and all the lights come on.

A lovely historic building on a busy square

Beautiful, small hotel. Exceptionally clean. Good value for money. Great continental breakfast buffet (available until 10am) including fresh fruit. Free tea and coffee available all day in the breakfast room (no tea-making facilities in the bedrooms). Hard beds. Rooms face a busy square with a well-used bus-stop immediately outside so it's noisy with windows open but OK when closed and air-conditioning is quite effective. Better black-out curtains would help, as there are very bright street lights right outside. Hotel offers valet parking at 20 Euros per night. This was definitely worth it for us, as driving (and especially parking) around Trieste is a nightmare! For exploring the city, a car is not needed as it is mostly walkable (10 mins to Grand Canal) and regular busses go beyond. Lovely city with historic buildings and plenty to do for our 4-day stay. Not the friendliest hospitality in many restaurants in Trieste .... unusual for Italy, in our experience.

DONT STAY HERE

Do not stay at this hotel. It was the worst hotel me and my husband have ever stayed at. Check in was at 3:00 and by 4:00 we already checked out. The AC wasn’t working, the walls were dirty (it felt like a prison cell) also the bathrooms had mold growing from the ceiling. Save your money and don’t stay here!!
