The Narrowboat hotel pub was average but served its purpose which was to provide affordable accommodation near to a venue where we were attending a wedding. The rooms were basic, would have benefited from being ‘aired’ as they smelt musty. Our front door looked like someone had tried to force it open but it was secure- all just a little tired! The breakfast we had in the pub was lovely and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Accommodation was fairly priced for the facilities offered and the food was good value. The location being next to the canal was lovely.

Pub is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday morning so only contact we had was to pick key up, so cannot really comment on service.
Lodge was clean but looking a bit tired, but was fine for a one night stay.

Rooms are separate from the pub. Single glased windows and only a small electric heater, would be nice in summer but cold it the winter. Shower had a 5 minute delay before it started. No breakfast but this was not stated when booking

The staff were so friendly and the venue was great with an idyllic location on the canal. The rooms are so lovely and cosy with the main pub building just across the car park. We stayed for Silverstone, which is 20 minutes in a taxi.

Nice location next to the canal, but the noise from the traffic on the A5 could at times be quite noisy.
