Such a wonderful stay at The DeSoto! Brought our daughter down for a college visit at SCAD and it was the perfect location! Walking distance to everything, so many cute shops, bookstores and places to eat close by! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the room was spacious and very clean. We will be back down and won't stay anywhere else!

Friendly check-in, got great advice from the front desk about free parking on the street. Just make sure you understand the rules. Wonderful pool area on the second floor level, with in-water foam chairs for sunning and a bar at poolside. Late night high-quality bar attached with a sophisticated bartender to meet your needs.

Older hotel but in good shape, balconies are non-accessible. Super comfortable bed, View was nice from our 13th floor room. AC went out in night - needed to call maintaince - they foxed it in about ½ hour after calling. Bar drinks were fantastic - food was just so-so. Location is just south of main historical district, but still close enough to walk nearly everywhere.
