Excellent check in as we arrived late.

Close to the national park

Perfect place to stay for a few nights while exploring the nearby national park. It’s a little warm in the room, and not much for a breeze, but overall clean and staff was very friendly.

A wonderful place to stay. We got lucky with a cabin by the creek which was amazing. Easy check-in, cabin was clean and comfortable, and staff were friendly. Easy access across the street to food and also the resort has a shop with necessities and snacks. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect Mountain experience

Cute, quaint and perfect. Loved the smell of the pine trees and Union Creek nearby. Our cabin was just as I imagined, clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful

The worker who checked us in was so welcoming and did a great job explaining all of the benefits of the property and surrounding area. We really appreciated the maps with local hikes! We stayed in cabin 7 and it was huge, had a great layout and was so cute and cozy! We wish we would have booked a longer stay!

Trip to Crater Lake

All the reviews are accurate. It’s not a resort, but it’s close to Crater Lake and that’s what we wanted. It’s hard for a an average size couple to share a double bed.

8/10 Very good

Rooms better for the young & healthy. Nice staff.

I had booked a room above the registration office & store. I had missed that these units all SHARE ONE BATHROOM. Also, the room was VERY small with a double bed pushed against the wall and a narrow doorway width path into the room. Due to some health issues, we could not safely stay in that room. There was a cancellation on a cabin and we were changed to that lovely place. Which was way beyond our expectation and so very much appreciated.
Lindsay, 1-night trip

Guests should be aware that if you stay in the lodge that you will be using a shared bathroom and shower.

Quaint

Cute place conveniently located to Crater Lake and surrounding attractions. I can appreciate rustic & old, however the basic level of cleanliness of the floors & bathroom in our cabin, left a bit to be desired. Staff @ general store was AMAZING! We would stay again.
Natalie, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

locked out and charged anyway

When we arrived at 9:00, the office door was locked and no one was around. So we had to drive farther down the road to find lodging elsewhere. Most annoying was that our credit card was charged and no one at the Resort or at Hotels.com has fixed the problem.

Real cabin experience

We enjoyed this little cabin (#8) a lot, floor squeaks and all. The bed was a king and comfortable. The fact there was a good restaurant, ice cream shop and a store just across the road was great. The views of the Rogue River were fantastic from the area across the road and down just a little. For us it was only a one night stop on our way home.
Margaret, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Wonderful friendly staff at check-in! She told us everything we needed to know and more, especially about the nearby National Park. The cabins are old and rustic so expect camping-style conditions including bugs :)
Erica, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We liked the rustic atmosphere and a cafe and ice cream store across the street. Our room was a bit small, but the bed was so comfortable! It was also close to Crater Lake, so that is what drew us there. Bathrooms were down the hall, but we had a sink in our room. It worked out well for us.
Robert, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The property was beautiful, very clean and a giant double room. They gave us plenty of towels. Parking was easy. A great place to stay
Michael, 2-night trip

Gorgeous and so relaxing! Nice break from tech as there is no tv and the WiFi is not good. We embraced it and will be back!
Kirsten Heikaus, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Only stay if you reserve a cabin!!

If you stay in the lodge, be aware that it is actually a “hostel.” You will be sharing a bathroom with many other guests, and our queen bed room had a chimney running through the middle of the room. Customer support was terrible and pretty rude.
Maryanne, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

There is no service & power went out all night. Make sure you print up maps before you go! Cabins were so cute! Nice people at the resort!
Jamie, 1-night trip

Charged me double for my stay
Merissa, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very remote yet close to waterfalls, hiking trails and Crater Lake. No telephones or TV in the cabin. Very relaxing. Restaurant across the road "Beckie's" has amazing pie!
Danelle, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Rustic, expensive, needs upgrades.

Old, historic building was unique. Shared restrooms need to be checked more often-one toilet was clogged and the other bathroom had a light burned out. Soap & towels were nice quality. Bed was comfortable but the room needed more light over bed. Window shade only went up on one side. One faucet in room's sink was leaky. No wifi.
joan, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Rooms were very hot. I guess I missed the part that rooms had no ac and not much ventilation. Large wasp in the room as well. I must of missed the bathrooms were shared as well.
Gabriel, 1-night trip

Wilderness Experience

Individual cabins were very nice. Be aware there is no cell service and no one is working on the property after 8 pm. My complaint is that there were mouse droppings on the bed and no one we could contact.
Michelle, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

There was no AC or WiFi in the room. The room was very hot. The kids were too hot to fall asleep at night. The restroom was public. The room was very small. Worst accommodation experience of the whole trip.
