Dated and not as described.

The location is excellent if you are in town for leisure, easy access to sights. We did not get the room we expected based on description on this website. When looking for resolution with staff, no solution could be offered. Amenities were not as described. The room/hotel are quite dated and it feels run down. The price/quality was not as we expected and we have stayed in significantly better and cheaper hotels in the same town.

Nos gustó el lugar, el personal y los alimentos. La cama algo suave. El cuarto limpio. Puedes caminar directamente al bosque. La comida estaba bien. No me gustó el checkout a las 10am. Si no llegas en carro la subida puede ser pesada, sobre todo si traes equipaje.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wartburg und Eisenach

Sehr gute Lage zum Wandern (Wartburg/ Luther Weg/ Drachenschlucht/ Eisenach), kostenlose Parkplätze. Frühstück sehr umfangreich, auch Rührei und Lachs inklusive. Zimmer mit Blick auf Wartburg war komfortabel.

Es la mejor opción para visitar el castillo de wartbirg dormir ahí y salir para senderear y visitar el castillo con calma a detalle el personal del hotel es hospitalario y amable estuvimos muy a gusto y las vistas desde el hotel son preciosas

The hotel is located in a beautiful hill, and had a view to the Wartburg Castle. That alone is enough to justify our stay in the facility. The restaurant has good food, but service is a bit tardy.

Dieses Hotel liegt direkt am Waldrand, von dort geht man in ca. 20 Minuten einen schönen, aber auch teils sehr steilen Weg hoch zur Wartburg. Alles ist in die Jahre gekommen, man darf nicht anspruchsvoll sein bei den Zimmern. Knarrende Bodendielen haben ihren Charme, ein glühend heißes Rohr trotz abgestellter Heizung und geöffnetem Fenster machte das Schlafen in der Nacht beinahe unmöglich. Das Personal macht aber vieles wieder wett. Das Frühstück bietet einiges, aber leider nicht für jeden Geschmack. Aber es ist okay.
