阿里山鉄道に乗るということで宿泊しました。嘉義の駅からほど近いところで、ホテルから1分のところにコンビニが、数分のところに24時間営業の小さなホームセンターがあります。 部屋は年季が入っていましたが、快適に過ごすことができました。 朝食は本格的で朝からお腹いっぱいになることができました（もしスープがあったら最高でしたが・・） 写真の1枚目は嘉義名物の火鶏肉飯。2枚めはホテルの朝ご飯です。

Guter Standort, für die Fahrt nach Alishan. Bahnhofsnähe ist praktisch, aber chaotische Verkehrsführung für Fußgänger. Es gibt eigentlich keinen Bürgersteig und man muss immer auf die Motorroller achten. Die Ausstattung wirkt schon etwas abgenutzt, ausgefranste Handtücher, wenig Ablageflächen um Zimmer. Kein Lichtschalter in Bettnähe. TV hatte keine Berechtigungen für Sender in einer europäischen Sprache. Waschmaschine zur Selbstbedienung wirkte irgendwie nicht vertrauenswürdig, es gab, glaube ich, auch keine englischsprachige Anleitung. Vermutlich würde ich das Hotel trotzdem wieder buchen, weil der Preis als Alleinreisende einfach ok war.

Location is great since it’s close to the train station. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s city center so while there’s a window, there’s no view from my 2nd floor room. Room is clean with water and tea provided. For the price and location I’d stay there again.
