Great Stay

I liked the way the room was set up. It was clean as well. Getting off the elevator you can smell the clean carpet. They must have just had them cleaned. I was very happy with the stay.

We will stay here whenever we are in Delaware.

The 2 night stay was excellent. The cleanliness is top notch, and ai am very particular about cleanliness! The beds are very comfortable, staff is very courteous and helpful. We had no issues at all.

Pretty solid hotel. Spacious and well done. The shower probably could use a sliding door and our floor needs an ice machine, but other than that, great job. Glad to see new stuff in Wilmington!

I booked through Expedia over six months ago for a King. When checking in confirmed and was told we were provided a Queen. Informed front desk that was not going to work. Also, when showing front desk email documentation did not seem to care. The check in line was forming behind me, and only then was I provided a King.

Not the best place to stay

The desk staff was rude, The room design was not good, the TV could only be viewed from the bed and not the couch, no parking, had to park on the street, there was no vening machines, you had to buy from their little market which was completely unstocked and many shelfs were bare, the breakfast ended to early on the weekend and it was dated.

Breakfast was surprisingly good, however the AC in the hallways and lobby was not working. There is also no AC vents in the bedroom so you have to keep the living room door open to get cool air. The valet staff look suspect but they were nice. 6/10.

Comfortable but extra 34$ for parking

If you have a vehicle, the only available hotel parking costs 34$ USD with a valet. The valet service is from 7h00 to 23h00 and you can expect a delay to get your car during morning hours. The room was nice and comfortable but there were some issues with the water fausset, drawers, and shower accessories. The overall experience was good. The breakfast was also served in a different space than usual due to ongoing renovations inside the hotel. They provided boxes to carry the food back to your respective room.

There was no air conditioning in the lobby and it was miserable. The first day they ran out of breakfast and we had to go somewhere else to eat. No one helped us with our luggage - had to get the cart, take everything up to our room, return the cart ourselves. The room was very nice - clean, new, A/C and the staff was very nice. The elevators were old and dirty. Would not stay at this hotel again.

No milk at breakfast

The parking situation was confusing. Valet staff were not always attentive. Staff were underdressed . Crocs are not professional attire. The breakfast had no milk and rather than going out to buy a few half gallons of milk, they put cereal out with nothing to eat with it. Many guests were confused. Managerial staff could have easily sent a staff member to go buy some milk rather than “waiting for the afternoon delivery.” The situation was not conducive to the customers attending the actual breakfast that day. Why bother put the cereal out then…?

We had body fluid stains on our sheets. Had to change rooms three times because the beds were dirty. Xavier who works at the front desk was no help so maintenance man had to give me a better room. Imagine that! Xavier is lazy and never at the front desk. On his phone the whole time.

I already reached out to Marriott and I recd a partial refund. While the staff was friendly and somewhat helpful the room was extremely small, no addl pillows were provided for the bed and no pillows were provided with the linens for the couch. And more importantly we had to park on the street!
