Beautiful quaint town in southern region. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel within easy walking distance of harbour and restaurants. Many hotels in Iceland are overpriced and not good value, this is not one of those.

Looks aren’t everything.

The gentleman at the reception was super rude. Rooms were tiny and bathrooms tinier. When we pay close to $600 /night, I think it is fair to expect slightly better than basic. We were happy to stay there for only one night.

Out of all the places we stayed in Iceland, these had the best beds for our comfort. Came with tons of pillows also which was nice. The room was clean and had a school nearby, so we were able to take our toddler to play and a nearby grocery store for snack stop.

Could have been better

The hotel does not have a lift which makes it very difficult if you have big suitcases to carry up to your room. There was no offer to help as well so we have to carry up a flight of stairs all our things. Aside from that, the room bathroom was really really small where there is no divider between the shower and toilet except for a shower curtain. So when you finish showering the whole bathroom floor will be all wet. Needs improvement overall
