Splash is a great place to stay with kids. The pools, lazy river, and splash pads are super fun for them. The on-site restaurant and bars are good too.

The condo is nice, the place is nice but our condo had a few issues like dirty dishes, broken tv, and broken cabinet door.

Not sure I would spend the money to go back.

The hotel overall was nice, parking covered across the street with an enclosed walk across bridge. Multiple pools and play areas for kids of all ages. Poolside grills food is great and very nice beach front area. Now the negatives: Only 2 elevators for 20 floors of people (normal wait time of 7-12 minutes to get on elevator if it isnt full when it stops at your floor), room smelled like left over seafood for the first four days, beds were old and sunk in feeling, TV remote did not match the TV in second bedroom and TV was stuck on HBO so at 10PM not exactly best for small children coming to bed after crab hunting. Every night someone near our room was smoking and the smell of weed was extremely strong.

Don’t bother !! We booked a place at Splash through Gulfcoast Hidaways on Expedia. After confirmation and a 5 hour drive to the location, we were told they canceled our reservation because Expedia had the wrong rate! Expedia worked very hard to get resolution and Splash would not honor any of the resolution . There are so many more options in PCB . Choose ANY but Splash!

Good property overall, but some unit in poor shape

My unit (1403E) was in poor shape. Old furniture with many items not working. Broken leg on coffee table, microwave vent cover missing, sliding door to balcony was stuck and would not open more than 1/3 way, bathroom shower was dirty, old TV with missing remote cover, bird poop not cleaned, etc. Splash property itself was in pretty decent shape with easy access to the beach.

The property itself was nice as long as you have children. There is an adult only pool, that was not monitored so there were kids. The restaurant closed around 5 and the little store/ice cream place closed whenever it felt like it. You have to park on the opposite side of the street and walk across the walkway to get to the resort. Our room was supposed to have a blender, toaster and table supplies. There was no blender, no toaster and all we were provided were spoons. The fitted sheet did not fit the bed and had to constantly put it back on. My sister stayed at a different resort and paid the same price for a room for 10 people, full kitchen, dining room, and 2 outdoor patios for what we paid for our 2 person room.

Poor hotel poor service

We arrived at midnight and no one was at front desk to check us in, after one hour of waiting patiently with my wife, my 3 kids and my parents with no results we left and checked in to another hotel. Very disappointing will not recommend anyone. Also when I spoke to the hotel security they mentioned to me that it's not the first time and I'm not the only one that can't check in at this time and he recommended me to leave and find another hotel. Tried to call their customer service for refund after I found out that they double charged me but call always "dropped" when they placed me on hold. Good luck and don't spend your time and money.

The resort itself is kid friendly (went with my 8 y.o. son) and the 3 pools are great options, especially if you wanted area which was not as busy or full of other kids - not paying attention to others around them. Could switch pools if needed. The rental was PERFECT and surprisingly spacious. The beach and horizon view from the room was the perfect way to wake up and go to sleep by. From one side of the building, you could catch the sunrise, and the ocean side - the sunset. The sound of the ocean was quite pleasant and enjoyable. This was a very last minute trip my husband wanted to take and I'm glad we did. I would not say it's 'walkable' as there's not much around; however drive to most places was about 10 min away (pending traffic). It was perfect for last minute AND what we needed. We were out and about anyway when we needed, otherwise relaxing at the resort/rental. I would gladly book this place again! There is a question that asked "Do you consider your review to be particularly helpful for any of the following communities?" and gave options of ethnicity/culture. . . . what an odd question but will address. (I'm slightly darker myself) It doesn't matter who you are, what walk of life or what your preference/ID is - this was a nice stay. Everybody and ANYBODY would enjoy it.

I booked a condo with 2 king beds and queen pull out couch. I got 1 king, 1 queen with pullout couch. The beds were so hard that everyone's hips and back hurt. There wasn't enough comfortable seating in den area. We suggest a sectional couch and 2 recliners. There was black mold on air vents in bathrooms.

The condo was nice and clean with a beautiful view and direct access to the beach. The splash pad and pool were a hit for the for our kids. We didnt have to leave the facility at all for any entertainment. The only issue I had was within the booking process. I booked using afterpay and received messages from the property management team wanting proof of payment and they wanted a picture of a physical card for proof which was not available due to using Afterpay, so I would advise anyone who is looking to use a service such as that to book to be careful because you will have to show some type of proof that the method of payment matches your ID

Beyond Satisfied!

Stayed for a Mon-Fri vacation with the family and was absolutely satisfied. It was a little bit of a drive (about 10 minutes) from a lot of the main activities and restaurants, but given that we went during Spring Break, it was a blessing to be a little ways down. The room was perfect. Very clean, had everything we needed. The Splash Pad and Pool were also very convenient for the evenings when the beach was too cold and the kids wanted some extra water time. Would definitely stay there again, and would hughly recommend.
