Great location, walkable distance to many famous landmarks: Taichung Train Station, Miyahara store, Taichung City Hall. It is close to lots of good eateries, restaurants, and milk tea stores. At the corner, there is a bakery that we highly recommend; it has excellent sandwiches and is always crowded.
The reception staff is very helpful. The reception area is welcoming with some snacks and a warm delicious date drink.
We got Room 715. It is of decent size and has a balcony. Due to some mistakes from Expedia, we had some confusion about the room that was assigned to us. We are grateful that Steven at the reception desk worked hard with his manager Derek to resolve the issue.
The hotel does not have breakfast. We appreciate having a Nespresso machine in the room. In addition, Nespresso capsules, snacks, and soft drinks are provided daily.
There is no laundry facility. But across the street, there is a 24 hour self-service laundromat.
