This was a great hotel for my family’s time In Monteverde! For the price I think it’s a great option. The staff was extremely helpful, providing many suggestions and helping us book tickets for different excursions. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast (included in the price) was good. It was fine as a base for exploring Monteverde and surrounds. Staff were super helpful with booking tours so we didn't have to think about any of that. Room was a bit dated and dark but ok for the price. Breakfast was ok, not amazing but fine. Location is good and you can walk into San Elena. A good option so long as you are out and about all day and not planning on spending too much time at the hotel.

Lovely staff and really well kept, if admittedly spartan, facilities. The breakfasts are great and the location is within easy walking distance of one of the town's best sodas. The staff are excellent at managing expeditions and tours as well. Finally, while the bed was small and the hot water did flicker, the room held a real charm to it nestled among the trees. A good place to stay.

Such a lovely spot tucked just outside of town. Simple but lovely accommodations. The staff went out of their way to meet every need. The room was comfortable but the bathroom needed hooks to hang towels. The best part was the feeling of being up in the trees being blown with the branches.
