Beautiful, well maintained property, attentive and helpful staff, comfortable bed, amazing and generous breakfast with a lot of variety. And the pools speak for themselves. The hotel is even better in person than in the photos. Will be back next time in Ubud.

Goya Boutique Hotel was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property — stylish, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. It feels like a luxurious oasis tucked away in the heart of Ubud. The food was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast with a view or a quiet dinner by the pool, every meal was a treat. The service was warm, professional, and thoughtful throughout our stay. The staff made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Beautiful property and very kind and serving staff. We had a great time at this place. Staff took extra care and made sure we were comfortable, did more than we expected. Breakfast in the pool is a must, such a great experience. Also, we asked for extra flowers for our breakfast in the pool tray. Definitely worth the $$.

This is my third time at Goya - I love it so much. It’s serene, quiet and beautiful. The staff here are SO lovely, from reception, to restaurant, groundskeepers and housekeeping. It’s such a nice retreat and I am so relaxed when here. The hotel was so kind to give me a parting gift for staying here three times - so unexpected and a lovely touch. The breakfast continues to be top notch from the service to the food. I was so happy to see the additional pool constructed from my last visit. I will definitely be back!

I and my wife stay in innumerable hotels around the world every year, medium to upper price bracket range. Of those we would say a dozen rank as our favorites and the Goya is among them. As far as guest hospitality is concerned, theirs exceeds even the best Bali can offer, and the rooms and guest areas are simply breathtaking. It's a little walk into the centre of Ubud but who cares when the simple luxury is awaiting your return. Top marks, Chapeau!

The accommodation is highly recommended. We enjoyed every moment. The staff are very accommodating and try to respond to our needs. The facility invites you to relax even if the surroundings outside are a bit turbulent. Nevertheless, it was very good because everything was within walking distance. All around recommendable! One wish for the future: I would like to see more vegetarian and vegan dishes for breakfast. Nevertheless, the great staff have already tried to make everything possible for me :)

Perfect Ubud luxury and close to the centre

t is a boutique hotel. There are 2 infinity pools. There is a forest view in front of you. It is a quiet and ideal hotel for resting. The hotel staff is smiling and provides very good service. It is a very clean hotel with 3 floors. The rooms are large. It has a large balcony in front. The view from the 3rd floor room was very nice. However, there was a wire fence in front of the room on the 2nd floor that we rented as a garden view room (the hotel below has removed it) which spoils the view. Breakfast was a la carte. You choose from the options and it comes to you. The presentation was very careful and nice. Everything was freshly prepared so it was hot. The hotel is close to Ubud and you can walk there. However, there is no road or sidewalk for people to walk. You have to find your way between motorcycles and cars. The most difficult aspect of Bali's trip is that pedestrians are not prioritized. You cannot enjoy those beauties while walking.

Luxury and peace in busy little town

Beautiful property, great view over the valley and quiet after being set back from the main road. Plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance and only 15mins walk to monkey palace or 20mins to ridge walk. Highlights are the pool, free daily afternoon tea, the spacious rooms and friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!
