Overnight stay with our Grandson who is 4. Lively family room in the attic with its own bathroom. Very low ceilings throughout so tall people beware! Lovely warm welcome, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast. Well worth staying here if visiting Chard.

Whether it’s a staging post on a longer journey or a base to explore, Ammonite Lodge is perfect. The rooms are spotless , comfortable and contains great products and facilities. The owners are incredibly welcoming- running the house seems as much a matter of love as well as business. We cannot fault the place and look forward to our next stay!

Nice welcome when we first arrived, shown to our room which was clean and comfortable, however, the bathroom in room 5 was very small, with a toilet sounding like the ones on a plane, and not comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a good choice. Overall a nice place, but over the top with ornaments.
