Make sure you know which Thon property you are going to! We got off shuttle at the wrong one but an employee getting off work was very kind and gave us a short ride to the other. Staff at both were professional, friendly and helpful. Thon airport rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. Restaurant was good and staff very friendly. Would absolutely recommend

The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the hotel service was great. They have a nice free coffee bar with a good selection in the lobby. As you walk into the room, there’s a great place to lay out two suitcases, which was very nice. Two small things that were a little annoying. The bathroom in our room had a very short, one 2 inch step up which we kept tripping on until we got used to it. Also, the shower automatically turns off about every one to two minutes and when you turn it back on you get a short surge of only hot water.

I found hair on my linens in several places which led me to believe they were not changed. I remove them and slept without the top layer. When I asked the front office for a foreign power convertor, they did not have one, but were very rude and unapologetic. And the airport terminal bus was very late. It arrived more than 20 minutes after the schedule time. I was very glad to have booked one night there.

They spent to long time waiting for their system to be updated with my booking so that they could be sure I had paid when I checked in post midnight eager to go straight to bed. No compensation for waiting time. No food available when I arrived restaurant at the 10, breakfast was closed and no other options. However, the bed was amazing and for that they deserve credit! NB if you come with the shuttle bus from Gardermoen like I did, be aware it is the second THON hotel, not the first. We were people getting of the bus as it said THON, but that was the budget b&b THON.
