Slow hotel without working AC

The hotel didn’t live up to my expectations. The check in was way too slow. Guests were waiting but the reception continued in a really really slow pace. How hard can it be to take a copy of a passport, get the payment and leave a receipt and a key? As a Hotels.com Silver member I was supposed to get a bottle of wine. I forgot to remind them but none showed up. The AC didn’t work or they shut it off during every nights. If I pay for a room with AC, I expect to get that. The wifi also failed several times.

The hotel is very comfortable and in a perfect location for seeing Sarajevo. My room had a great view of the river. All the staff were so helpful and they let me leave my car after check out while I did more sightseeing. I liked it.

Hotel President is conveniently located right by the old town of Sarajevo. We had a car with us and it was super easy to pull up by the hotel and the staff opened the garage for us and we were able to park. The location is awesome -- all of Sarajevo's small shops, restaurants, and bars were in walking distance, and major attractions like the two mosques and multiple museums. I'd stay again at this property.

Great location to explore the old town

Very good stay at the President! Excellent location. Rooms were clean and spacious. Good bathroom and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a view of the river and the beautiful mountains that surround Sarajevo. Breakfast was good; lots of choices. Front desk staff could have been a lot more helpful with some direction requests but otherwise the rest of the staff were great. Would recommend.
