The motel itself was fine. Older, but very clean - fridge, microwave and in-room coffee. (Not sure why, but many places no longer have in room coffee.) I am a traveling festival vendor and worked the day I was to stay at the Creekside Lodger until close to 10pm. Long day. I got to the motel at 10:08. I didn't realize I had to check in at the store next door. I went there, but they close at 10. The two men told me to go back to the motel and wait for them to open the office. Ok. Check in was slow, language barrier, not friendly, whatever. Finally got my room key and got to my room, which was fine. I went back to the store at 7:15am to check out, get my $100 cash deposit back and head home. The counter person told me in broken English I would have to wait until someone opened the office to get my deposit back. I produced the receipt which had CASH written on it and he reluctantly returned my $100. Even though the motel was fine, I will never stay there again. Worst customer service and interface ever. People need to learn how to SMILE and be welcoming. As a business owner, I appreciate my customers and let them know it. They don't.
