Lovely hotel near center of village

Nice hotel just near the High Street. nice bar. We had a very large room with a large, comfortable bed. Couldn’t figure out how to start the Jacuzzi, which was a downside, and the absence if a real shower was somewhat odd these days. I do recommend the hotel as clean and orderly.

Met expectations

This hotel met our expectations. The room my wife and I had was rather small but our kids’ room was large. The facilities could use updating but overall it was adequate. The location was very convenient.

We stayed here for one night as we were exploring the Highlands. The bathroom was so, so cold it made it almost impossible to even brush our teeth in there. The room was very basic and nothing to write home about.

It was clean and comfortable. Truly appreciated the staff's willingness to lock up our luggage after we checked out until we departed in the evening. Only downside was not having an elevator and having to climb to the 4th floor. Staff were available to carry luggage up.

We had two rooms. One bathroom had mold in the shower and the floor was not vacuumed. The single beds were very small and uncomfortable. The floor in the other bathroom had leaking tiles. The positive note is that it is in a great location along the water and one street away from the fun pedestrian shopping street.

Overpriced for what this hotel offers.

The staff could have been friendlier. The room was a good size with a really good size bathroom too. Unfortunately the torn curtains in the bathroom and bedroom gave it a very shabby look. The curtains could easily be replaced and elevate the look of the room.

Ok hotel. Bit noisy towers the street. Forgot my shirt at the hotel. Tried to get it back and they promised to get back to me but they never did.

The room was clean, pretty big and having a fan was a big plus! The issue was that the area always has traffic on some level on the street below, it sits right on the road. There were also a considerate loud(possibly drunk) people as well. No elevator which was a big issue for us after a very long walk earlier so every step with the laggege was noticed. The shower had a weird prerequesit where you had to open the sink faucet to hot if you want pressure / hot water in the shower...

This hotel was terrible. The receptionist was sittinv in a dirty pinkbpuffa coat, no eyr contact, not friendly. No lift, no offer of help with luggage so had to drag my case upstairs. On entering the room the first thing i saw was the filthy windows and could just make out the metal fire escape taking up the whole view. The room was very small, dated and felt cold and dirty. There was no way id spend a night thete. Another guest kindly took my case back down for me as i need to hold the rail with both hands to ho down. When i went to reception she just shrugged and said well youre not gettingvyour money back but i could mot stay thete it was do bad

Very poor service and poor dealing with complaint

We arrived and had to wait for nearly 10 miniutes for the receptionist to arrive. There was a member off staff in the lobby but not crossed trained. We told tbem that i had just had a oppertion. We were tomd that there was no lift and told " if you cannot manage you can ask for help" any good recetptionist would offer help. The room was good but step in bath shower very slippery. They moved us to a different room which was good. Breakfast very basic. One no coffee, i had the last crossant and only one type of tea bag. The second day 2 types of tea bag. I asked for crossants and told there were none., half a cup off coffee as a person had just filled up a flask with itt and told the member off staf, whome did not check it. Rooms very nosy with both traffic noise and .druncks. The second morning we put out the please clean sign on the room door and was not cleaned. We coplained through hotels .com and no detail questions asked and coplaint was not held. So both hotel ( probably not mamagment) and hotels. Com not investigated the complaint properly.

Nice hotel!

Room was cozy. Small “issue” was the heater didn’t heat all the way to the top, but wasn’t a huge problem for us. Staff was super friendly and good was great!
