Location was perfect for work during my stay. There was a smell of mould from the bathroom which was ok when the door was closed. There was a lot of construction around the area while I was there.

preferred hotel when starting business trips

This is my preferred hotel when starting business trips from Europe. It’s the perfect place to recover after a long flight — early breakfast is available, and it’s just a short walk to Circular Quay for a refreshing morning run and a chance to enjoy the true Sydney feeling. This time, I stayed at the hotel at the end of my trip as well, and added a Saturday tour: Wildlife, Waterfalls and Wine Small Group Tour with Steve (“the other Steve”). It was a fantastic way to experience stunning scenery, beautiful beaches, and the wine district all in one day.

One of Sydney's best hotels!

We had an excellent experience for 3 nights at Rydges Australian Square. We were given early check-in after enduring 3 flights (17 hours) and very long travel from home. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the bed was truly comfortable, and though small, the room was quiet, well-appointed and very clean, and the included breakfast was lavish. The downtown location was perfect: within easy walking distance to many of Sydney's best attractions (Royal Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery, Opera House, Circular Quay, Darling Harbor, Sydney Harbor Bridge, The Rocks, several museums, good restaurants, and public transportation). A great time, overall.

The Hotel is in a great location, handy to downtown. The room was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. Only downside was the restaurant was closed on the Sunday night so we had to venture out and find a restaurant after a long day. However we had a fantastic meal quite close by! Definitely would stay again.

Brilliant location, walkable to all the big attractions. Excellent transport links for travelling further afield or even locally if you dont fancy walking. Very clean and well kept accomodation. Only down side is the rooms are quite small but who stays in the room in a fabulous location.

Perfect boutique hotel for our short stay in the city. Conveniently located. Minutes to all forms of public transport, restaurants and shops. Beautifully clean. We had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
