Amazing stay

Amazing experience as always here!
Shannon, 3-night trip

Our 3 night stay at the Coral Reef was superb, very relaxing areas throughout surrounding grounds, great access to have a swim or use the free kayaks available for journey across to glass island, restaurants very close by with a brilliant variety of exquisite tasting foods, we stayed in the room above restaurant which had a outstanding view, parking was good, staff where excellent, area kept very clean, we will return if in Aruba again.

Very relaxing vacation place, swimming, kayaking, beautiful sunset.

I loved my stay at Coral Reef! The location was nice, situated outside of the main tourist area but still a short drive away from Orangestaad and Noord. The staff was exceptional both at the property and the Restaurant which was literally right next door. If you are looking for a quiet stay with great food next door, then I highly recommend Coral Reef!

This was our second stay at Coral Reef, and we really enjoy the laid back atmosphere. We can get in the car and go up to the high rise area and hang out and than come back n chill. The staff are always there to help, but I love how they just let you do your vacation.

Nice for a long weekend get away. Bonus is the restaurant next to the hotel, had the best seafood! And very nice servers!

Unique small apartment complex with small beach. Away from the high rise hotels but only 15 minutes to downtown. Next door to a great fish restaurant. Great staff.

Beautiful! Love the apartment concept with kitchenette - so much nicer than a hotel. Ours was incredibly spacious with a gorgeous view. Private deck & beach were awesome!! Great stay and wonderful help from the management team of Eric, Jenny & Graciela!!!

True Aruba! Right on the beach, natural vegetation. Had everything you could want - a full community kitchen, hammocks, beach chairs, library, lots of outdoor sitting spaces and a seating area in the water! The managers were terrific- friendly and ready to share information. Great restaurants nearby (one right next door). Daily maid service. This place is a gem!!

Coral Reef Beach Aruba was the most wonderful thing I experienced in Savaneta. My fiancee and I enjoyed the peace and quiet, the ambiance, the service everything about it was truly amazing. We were welcome with Grace and Superior hospitality and felt right at home. We highly recommend staying here if you want something that's away from the tourist side of the island with more privacy and I can't forget it being a neighbor to the absolute best restaurant in the entire island The Flying Fishbone! We will definitely be returning soon thanks so much for having us!

Relaxing Island Atmosphere. If you like fancy high end resorts, go elsewhere. If you want sand in your toes, community style accommodations, water for snorkeling, kayaking, or swimming, then stay here. This is a small island styled resort that is so relaxed. Two excellent restaurants within short walking distance. Abundance of supermarkets close by, some are walkable. The location is more local community then resort community, which is my preference. The staff were incredibly nice and greeted me upon arrival. The rooms were clean and island styled. Water views from most rooms. A/C worked great when needed, but I usually had my balcony double doors open to feel the island breeze. Other guests were very friendly and sharing. I would definitely stay here again and start off each day sitting on the dock of the bay. Beautiful blue lights in the water made the dock a perfect place to relax at night.
Richard, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

Ugh. I absolutely hate writing bad reviews especially when people are so friendly however, I feel like people should be aware. The manager was so sweet and kind and helpful so if there’s any upside to this, let it be that, When we booked this, we knew we wouldn’t be at a 5 star all-inclusive resort. Based on the photos, we knew it would be a bit older and out dated, but we were very shocked upon arrival. You have to carry your luggage through sand just to get to the extremely steep/wide steps and that were not easy to get up. Once getting in the room, you realize it is a shared balcony with other guests… which is fine. Walking inside, there were two huge doors directly in front of a queen sized bed… Sittin in a 10x10 room. We had no where to put 1 let alone two suit cases… Following, there were huge cracks in the floor, insect repellent (for the room) on the shelf, the floors were soaking wet and the A/C was not working. Not to mention, the lighting in there showed ever speck of dust and dirt all over the place. WiFi did not work, and coffee machine was dirty. I feel horrible writing this, but we ended up having to book and spend an additional $1000 for our trip because we simply could not stay there. Again, we knew we were getting old, but we didn’t know we were getting what we got.

I stayed in Room 10. The owners state that you "may" hear some noise from the restaurant next door. But you will "definitely" hear noise from the restaurant next door. You will hear dishes clinking in the kitchen and ALL the conversations and laughing in the dining area right outside your window. The restaurant officially closes at 10pm but you will continue to hear the noise until 10:30 or later. If you are a night owl this may not be a problem - just be aware. The view of the sea from your window will more that make up for the nose though. Check in was confusing. There was no management or staff on the property when I checked in about 5 pm. I wandered around looking for about 30 minutes knocked on the door that I was told was the owner and no answer. After thinking I may be sleeping in my car, I went next door to the Flying Fishbone restaurant and asked what they knew about the hotel. I was told that I was to check in at the the restaurant. This was not communicated at all when I made the reservations. Very confusing and frustrating. A great perk is that they have coolers, beach chairs and snorkel stuff for you day trips to the beach. They have a great sun deck for watching the sunset. It is also close to Zeerovers for a cheaper meal than the restaurant next door.

8/10 Very good

I loved the property. Owner was friendly and welcomed me as if I was family. Beautiful location for a quiet, layed back scene. My only complaint was that the restaurant next door can become a bit chatty. When booking I saw that the Flying Fishbone closed at 10pm, which I did not mind as I go to bed around 9:30/9:45 anyways. However, for a night or two it was past 11pm and customers were still at the Flying Fishbone. I understand they may not want to rush whoever is eating but they should be considerate. (I say this because the same person who owns The Flying Fishbone also owns Coral Reef Beach, so I would think he would want to satisfy both sets of clients, not just those at the restaurant). The only thing that helped me sleep was turning up the AC on high turbo blast which fainted the noise to a level I was able to sleep in.Also one night I was sitting on the deck, and the owner or manager (whoever it was) allowed customers from the restaurant to walk on over from the restaurant side to the coral reef side. I did not appreciate this amd actually found it to be very rude. If I am not allowed to casually hop over the fense and take a look at the water where people have their feet in, why are customers at the restaurant being encouraged to come over to coral reef and hang out on the deck. In the future, I would like to come back again, because there is nothing wrong woth the property at all. Everything is perfect. It is the restaurant next door that is the problem.

This is being one of the best places that I have stayed at. The woman in charge, Graciela, was wonderful and accommodating. I loved the private beach, everything that was included in the apartment was clean, and I felt safe the entire time.

Excellent location and staff with private dock and grotto. Best snorkeling in Aruba is right there with a barrier reef about 100 a-yards out. Loved it.
View at sunset from the dock. Restaurant (Flying Fishbone) owned by same proprietors.

I truly enjoyed this quaint property. It was relaxing and accommodating. I didn’t mind the restaurant below. Direct access and view to the ocean and sky sight lines were special and memorable. We left out daily and always returned to a clean room and fresh linens. Gabriela is kind, helpful and available.

Very rustic. No hot wster. Very responsive staff. Self service breakfast. Clean rooms and kitchen. Guest leftovers ( chairs, backgammon sets, kayaks )can be broken, dirty. The setting is nice and quiet. Very small grounds. If other guests have habits you may not like its hard to get away onnthe property. Restaurant attached is noisy, ovrrpriced and overrated. Walk to zeeovers!
