We booked multiple rooms for a family gathering. Some of the rooms were definitely nicer than others. It was tough only having double beds instead of queens. There were multiple breakfast items to choose from. There is not a pool as shown on some websites, but staff was friendly and helpful.

Trailside Inn is right on our way to our destination. It is an average motel with the usual conveniences: microwave, fridge, TV. There was always adequate hot water and I had a good soak in the bathtub. It was nice.

Very old outdated town as well as hotel/motel accommodations. Hotel advertises a pool on the property -- pool was cemented over years ago. hot breakfast consisted of biscuits and gravy only, plus the usual packaged junk. Desk clerk was great, but he is not an owner....

Trailside Inn is conveniently located in Alturas, CA. It is dog-friendly, reliably heated and cooled, and the room was equipped with a refrigerator and microwave and a TV with cable. It is pretty standard for an American motel in a small town. We opted to have breakfast at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant, and that was terrific. Parking is convenient. Alturas is a quiet place with wildlife sometimes walking through town. We enjoyed our stay.
