Good stay with pets

Only met one staff and she was very friendly and kind. Room was clean and comfortable.

Staff are extremely friendly, the coffee area was amazing and the place was easy to park and navigate

Mixed, But I’d Come Back

I stayed here because it is just steps from the train depot. Check in was very friendly. Bed is Good. Room needs maintenance. Ni housekeeping during my four nights here. (That’s fine with me.) Best soup and hot dogs in town right across the street.

Friendly & Clean

We stayed a few night to explore the Kenai Peninsula before embarking on our cruise. The front desk staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The property is dated but was clean and meet our needs. Coffee, tea, and hot cocoa were available in the lobby as well as a microwave. The rooms have small refrigerators with freezers. We would definitely stay again!

Great to stay!

Loved the convenience to the train station and the free shuttle service around town. The front desk staff, Shakita (hopefully that’s correct), was amazing! So accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a nice little motel. A little dated, but just fine for us for our fishing and sightseeing trip to Seward.

The motel itself was nothing to rave about but it’s location is excellent & it was adequate for our needs (we were out exploring much of the time). Friendly staff.

It is an older facility but it worked for me. Especially in Alaska, I was there on work. Comfortable bed, hot shower and free coffee.

Comfortable room, friendly service

The Manager came from across tonw in teh middle of the night to address an issue that was not of her doing, and was friendly and gracious in doing so. Comfortable, affordable, no-frills lodging.
Shaun, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was clean and affordable. It is an older motel but don’t let that discourage you. Clean rooms and the beds were okay. The staff however were great to offer assistance and resolve any problems. I would recommend this place. Close to the downtown if walking.

Fine

The location is great, but it needs some upgrades. Totally fine for a night or two to rest your head.

Nice room will all the necessities. Within walking distance to the marina and waterfront. However, my room smelled like a bar. Extremely pungent fumes similar to a dive bar. Thankfully I was able to open a window and let it air out for the afternoon.
Ashley, 2-night trip

This is an older budget hotel. There were limited options available in town when I booked. My friend was put in a room that appeared to be for staff on the back of the building. It was a lower quality than my room and one of the beds was on blocks. It. That room was not very clean.
Jackie, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

We reserved for two nights and prepaid one night. Had we not prepaid we would have left As it was we didn’t stay the second night. The manager was accommodating and understood. It was a dead giveaway when we got a list of potential damage charges. There were holes in the walls, stains on chairs and general wear and tear. Wouldn’t go back or recommend. Better than sleeping in a tent but not much.

Motel - no comfort

The room was very cold and had no comfort. It was old and broken. No value for money
Lis, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

nfortunately, the room conditions were not satisfactory. The rooms were dirty, and our room was located at the back of the building, requiring us to walk through the grass to access another door. Additionally, there was over a 2-inch gap between the wall and the door, which made us feel uncomfortable as we had to shove towels in the gap for privacy. This experience was absolutely ridiculous and not what we expected.
Shay, 1-night trip

Never again

Update, update, update. Most everything was outdated. Bathroom door wouldn’t latch, the toilet wasn’t clean at the base. For over $200.00 per night, I expected more. Put some money back into the place.
Brian, 2-night trip

Manager Crystal was very helpful when things went awry, and cheerfully stored our luggage. Tv didn’t work much. Bed lights had fuse problem. These matters were solved generally with staff intervention. No breakfast but Coffee. Room pretty cute. Too expensive for what we got, but lots of travelers in Seward.

You get what you pay for, but in this case a lot less than paid for! Check-in was chaos. The manager was negotiating free nights for fish, had no idea how I was able to book with Expedia and kept telling me I needed to get a refund! My room was decently large but with a really dirty linoleum floor. There was no bar soap to be had (“We’re out!”) so I had to use shampoo to wash my hands, no plastic glass for water, and a shortage of towels. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and easy walking distance to the harbor.

A perfect stay

The whole place was clean and did not smell bad. The front counter Person had dogs which gets 10 stars from me, but it was apparent she was bored… But she was really nice too, so it’s OK. Front counter was not open 24 hours which was fine because we didn’t need anything. The condition of the building was pretty good. There were some ceiling tiles missing, floor was uneven, And the carpet looked a little worse for wear (Both in the hallway). I love that the room came with a mini fridge and a microwave!!! Ten stars. It’s right near the port and on the highway so there was some noise if you left the window open, which we did, but I’m used to that kind of noise so it didn’t bother me at all. Plenty of parking, Smoking area, And right next to the parking lot where Kenai fjords tours picks you up. Ice machine, coffee maker with creamer pods, Tea, And hot chocolate, were free in the lobby.
