The Green Lantern is in a quiet area of Carmel. Loved that. They are renovating and making the property fresh and updated. Our bed was very comfortable and our room was clean! Loved our stay in this peaceful, lovely inn.

Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Grounds were very nice and close to everything. The steps from the door to the bed were steep and narrow. I’m older and have bad knees. I wish this would have been told to us we would have requested a different room.

The Green Lantern Inn is a wonderful place to stay. For the price point, the location is unbeatable—within walking distance to both the beach and the heart of Carmel. The property is quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace in our room. The staff and manager were excellent. We hope to return next year!

We wanted to love this Inn and it was lovely in many ways. The ceilings in our room were so low and just wish we had gotten a heads up, my husband hit his head hard on the ceiling! Unique property. Enjoyed the suite with the loft. Our daughter was excited to get her own space. Parking in Carmel is challenging in general but we had no issue getting a space right outside of our cottage with a bit of patience. The "breakfast" was lacking with only coffee/tea and a croissant. Coffee was of good quality but lacked otherwise. Grounds nicely done to complete the cottage feel.

Property was a cute Carmel cottage, however when I booked our room I didn’t realize how low the ceilings were. I am 6’ and had to watch my head while in the room due to its low ceiling height. The overall property is very nice, clean and very well maintained.
