Great location, with most places within easy walking distance from the hotel. Wonderful river walk five minutes from the hotel, along with plenty of shop's and dining options near-by. Complimentary breakfast, with a good menu, friendly staff and comfortable accommodation.

The hotel was very good and we’d recommend it. The location was second to none, giving you the option of exploring Bakewell and the Monsal Trail but also having a convenient access to both Chatsworth, Hadden Hall

Great location and fabulous breakfast, with lots of choice.
The rooms however, are very small, with a fan which didn't make the room any cooler on these hot evenings. There were never any staff on reception when we checked in and whenever I needed anything, however when you managed to find someone, they were very helpful.

Beautiful building inside and out.
Room was in separate building across the road which was absolutely fine for us, but no air conditioning and it was a hot night.
Water pressure in the shower was poor but that was our only issue. We loved our stay.
