The hotel is located in a very convenient area—next to a great seafood restaurant (Capitán Cook Restaurant), just steps away from a beautiful beach, and almost adjacent to a 3-in-1 resort hotel where you can enjoy luxurious days with their day passes. Even though the hotel was fully booked during our stay, it remained very quiet. We felt safe walking along the street at all times.

We’ve stayed here many times. It’s old, needs some love but still a great spot. If you are looking for the Hyatt this isn’t your spot. If you’re looking for a cheap spot to sleep after a long day of excursions that’s safe and have a real understanding of the DR this is a good spot. The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired.

Ill start by saying i am not pretentious in the slightest. Me and my wife have traveled around the world twice staying in many countries . This hotel was absolutely terrible. No hot water, no clean towels, no wifi , very limited english speaking staff. The rooms inside the property look like they were updated last in the 1960s. Lots of bugs. Ill just be honest and skip to the point . If you stay here you are a fool and will learn first hand. Do yourself a favor pay the extr money for somewhere nice or better yet go to Jamaica or something .

Staying here was a pleasure I don’t speak Spanish at all Wanda made my experience amazing by helping me book my tours and get transportation etc.Breakfast was good the hotel is walking distance from the beautiful beach definitely gonna book in the near future thank you.

I can honestly say, if it wasn't for the old guy (abuelo) threatening to shoot me--because I had woke him up from sleeping. ..I'd give it a better rating. There's something about checking out early, so you can make a flight on time--then have a delusional old man pull a gun on you! He told me I didn't pay for my last day. This was really stupid

This is our third year staying here. It covers all that we need and want and at a very good price. All of the staff do an excellent job at their work. The breakfast is very good and enjoy talking with other guests over it. The beach is right across the street. Everything is very walkable and convenient.

Property is older but nice quiet and relaxing stay. Had no cold water at the bathroom sink but only used hot anyway. Some cleanlines issues but management addressed them on the first day of our 9 day visit. Loved the fact it was right in the middle of great beach and restaurant options.
