Weather was amazing for swimming and water activities.Except fot the long gravel road to the property we enjoyed the stay.

8/10 Very good

Our unit was not one of the recently refurbished ones. Stove wouldnt close properly, pillows uncomfortable and generally just very old fashioned. Resort facilities are well maintained and great for kids though.

Great breakaway close to Pretoria

It was a great short breakaway with easy access from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Not the typical 5 Star private game lodge, but great anyway.

Excellent

a beautiful place to visit, rooms clean. Facility well kept, beds comfortably and linen clean, the staff very friendly, customer care helpful, pools well kept ♥️🌹 Loved everything about the place The only thing is the road going there very dusty and long, for a small car you need to drive slow 🥺

Jana, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Didnt like the attitude from the ladies at the restaurant not all of them anyways.they communicated very poorly with us.And the other thing is that although there is a map it is impossible for the first timer to follow the directions correctly as the route is explained at the reception but very fast.we got lost several times before we got to our destinations. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay at Dikhololo beside those 2 small challenges hope they will be attended to soon
Ntshupang, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Walls of the units ate too thin we could hear the neighbours early morning and late evenings. Utilities at facilities was too little for the huge accommodation one had to book everything in advance and most of the time the utilities was already booked. Gym only allowed 4 people at a time , tennis only 2 people.

Accommodation

The accommodation was very disappointing, the bed was very old and falling inwards in the middle, the bedding did not look clean, the room did not seem clean enough

Dikhololo wonderful family experience

The resort is amazing, everything you need is for a fun filled family holiday. The cost of common activities are free and certain carries an affordable cost. The animals roam the entire resort. The downside is the soundproofing required in the units as you can hear the adjoining units. However you spend minimal time at the units as you will be out enjoying what the resort offers. Also the last 11km of municipal road to get is a dirt road and difficult to navigate with a small vehicle . However once at the resort, your wouldn’t regret your decision to holiday with them.

Fantastic

Brilliant option for a small break. Facilities are excellent and very well kept.
Zubair, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

I was quite annoyed when we tried to book in at 4pm on a Sunday and we were told that check in time was only 5pm, no communication was received about a 5pm check in. We were then placed in a unit surrounded by screaming and crying children, we asked for another room and that took another hour, long story short we just paid for a new room as we were too exhausted to argue. I had my elderly parents with me and all they wanted to do was rest, not sit around in reception waiting for answers. Some of the restaurant staff members were quite rude. The Spa was amazing. The apartment that we finally got was never serviced and we had to lodge a request to get it sorted. Quite disappointing service.

An incredible getaway, with great modern, clean accommodation. Many facilities available for adults and children, with alot of wildlife all around you. Will definitely go back.

4/10 Fair

Very Disappointing

Very Disappointing. Check in was only at 5pm - this was not communicated to us. Units are very old and outdated. You need to pay for everything at the resort - to loading credits to use the aircon, paying for the heated pool, paying for putt putt Service at restaurant is SHOCKING! an hour wait for food and they werent even busy
Karen, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Dikhololo studio units

Stayed in a studio which was rather small and uncomfortable for 3 people (even though it was "sold" as a unit with double bed and 2 single beds). The double bed is in the middle of the unit so no privacy. The kitchen is tiny and generally the lay-out of the unit is old and old-fashioned. Wine glasses were smaller than sherry glasses! Staff however very friendly and accommodating
Liesl, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Good stay, bad roads

This accomodation is 50/50. The roads getting there is bad. Long dirt and gravel road with plenty potholes. I guess not a fault of Dikhololo but guests should be aware. The establishment itself is good, great facilities, very neat and updated rooms, nice warm indoor pool and outdoor facilities. However the thing that irked us was that you had to pay for almost anything you wanted to do there which is normally included in the rate at other places, such as the indoor pool, towels, slides etc. Another down side was limited amount of wildlife/game on the farm. But overall is very nice establishment
Kaveer, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Has a wonderful stay. Staff is very helpful.

Beautiful place, lots of activities to do. The walls in the rooms are too thin, you can hear the whole conversation of your neighbors, I didn't like that but overall I will definitely go back and book a free standing unit this time.
Precious, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The greatest challenge is the access road to the resort. 18km of poor, bone shaking roads. The businesses should get together and fix the roads, please - It can be done! Accommodation is tired and would benefit from update. We found the lock (door) to our unit was faulty and most of the time left unlocked. But overall good holiday experience.
Elsie, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

The upgraded units will be much more comfortable.
Divan, 5-night trip

2/10 Poor

Worse experience ever

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I thought it was going 2 b a good getaway family trip but on the contrary it was anything but good. First thing the reception ladies warned us about was noise, yes I didn't have a problem with that but was very surprised when our neighbors were literally screeming all night long and no one came 2 reprimand or evacuate them as they claimed they would. I wondered is it because they are white?? The chalets were not safe 4 little kids and were not clean as well. Overall service was bad, I was charged R85 for my 2yr old son 4 a game drive of which he was sitting on me, how can a baby sit by himself on that truck... The game drive only had zebras and giraffes so the R85 was only 4 that... The reception ladies did not even ask me why we checked out a day before out actual date, they just took de keys from me and did not bother 2 ask how ws our stay and why we left so early... I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone, never...

Stay at Dikhololo

First time at the resort. It was a very pleasant stay, clean / updated chalets, comfortable beds / accommodation and excellent facilities.
1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The towels were missing from our unit and when they brought them they were dirty. The bed was in the lounge and there was nowhere to sit and have an evening drink inside or watch TV. The meal at the restaurant was over cooked and the walls between our neighbours was so thin we could hear their TV and their every word all night. Their children screamed until 1am and it sounded as if they were in the same room as us. The chalets are old and in need of some TLC

Home away from home - a great getaway

From the time you get there to the time you leave, you are in complete bliss. Plenty to do for the kids. Adults have time to relax. Scenery is beautiful. Chalets are clean and fully functional for what ever you will need.
