Upon checking in the suggestion was made to upgrade which I chose to do. I am so happy I did. Got a freshly renovated room overlooking the water. The bed was so comfortable and the view of the bridge was phenomenal. If I ever went back to Mackinaw City. I would definitely stay here again.

View was amazing. We had a waterfront room and the view was beautiful. Our first room had a toilet that was not working and the staff was able to quickly move us to another room.

Construction work on road make it hard to get in and out.

Dirty floors, shower, toilet. Dusty. Bent screen door off and leaning against outside wall. Front door did not close all of the way, leaving about an inch gap allowing light, cold air and mosquitoes in. Filled the gaps with hand towels and washcloths. Coffee, but no pot.

The first room we were given had no water to the toilet. We were moved to another which had a broken screen door so we could not open it. The main door didn't close tightly so the room filled up with insects (fortunately not mosquitos) Broken siding was hanging in a tree outside our room. The front desk staff was very pleasant and tried to help, but this facility is undergoing remodeling and has a ways to go.

This is a great little motel that is in the middle of face-lift. Our room was so nice. It was newly remodled floor to ceiling knotty pine. Beds were very comfortable. Great views of the bridge and own private beach. Can't wait to stay again.

They have recently remodeled and it is beautiful. The view was better than a lot of the big name places. It was quiet and right on the beach. I will absolutely come back and look forward to staying here again. We were on the second floor and I was more than pleased with our room, balcony and view. We got there after hours and the staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. 10/10 completely recommend

Family owned , freindly. Location of room on water was great. we had a ground floor room with covered patio overlooking Lake Huron. Individual Fire pit on grass outside the room, then sand beach with lounge chairs. Nighttime views of the lights on the Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island were fabulous. Simple accomadation but comfortable

I would definitely stay there again! It’s on the water, it’s lovely. I had the added gift of seeing the fireworks over the bridge last night, which was awesome. The place was exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly. The only thing that I would add is perhaps it could have a couple more racks in the bathroom to hang towels once you’ve use them for washcloths, etc. highly recommend !
