A very nice, clean, small room with a comfortable bed and choice of two chairs. There were some faint water stains on the ceiling but overall the decor was acceptable. The staff were uniformly lovely and helpful. A decent breakfast was on offer in the wood panelled dining room with views of the gorgeous gardens and the sea. A very pleasant stay.

The staff were absolutely excellent with warmth and helpfulness throughout. The building is old and so the hotel isn’t modern but it is charming. Food was excellent and the bar pleasant and comfortable. The leisure facilities were lovely. Overall a very relaxing and peaceful stay.

This was our second stay at the property. We received a warm welcome as usual and checked into our spacious family room. The hotel is clean but a little tired in places. We're happy to see that they are undertaking a refurbishment and look forward to seeing the results next year. The location is outstanding; a short walk from the beach and high street. The pool, hot tub and sauna are a fantastic bonus. Breakfast is lovely and plenty of it. We love our stays here and the character of an older property.
