Such a fun and unique hotel. We loved being right in the heart of Dublin, and peeking out the window to the streets in the nights when our jetlag kept us awake! One of the favorite places we stayed in Ireland.

Nice but not great

Hotel is nice and good Location but it is VERY LOUD until 3am every night.
4-night trip

8/10 Very good

We liked our stay at the Mercantile.

Charming, comfortable and well located hotel. Great service at the front desk and nice bar/lounge and cafe attached to the hotel. We enjoyed the cafe for morning coffee and pastries. Only issue was the small size of the room with the bed nearly occupying the entire space and no place for our 2 small carryon suitcases. But our room was very clean and well appointed.

Great location

Convenient location, friendly staff. Some noise at night but not too bad.. room smaller than what I thought but clean.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The room was nice, but the bathroom designer should be sent back to architectural school. The bed was comfortable, but unless you like something akin to a bag of sand, I’d suggest bringing your own pillow. The staff were delightful, and special kudos to the world’s best doorman.

Staff was great. The love the lobby and general atmosphere. So close to temple bar, but not load even on the street side.(5th floor). Central to everything! So glad I chose this hotel as part of my stay.

Nice place to stay.

Nice hotel, decent restaurant clean and only just off Temple Street. Offers a nice breakfast and staff are very friendly in reception. The lower rooms can be a little noisy with traffic, but if you want to be in the centre of town, you have to expect it.

Wonderful hotel in excellent location.

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Staff is amazing, comfortable and quiet room so close to everything. We walked everywhere. Everything feels new and clean. Nice bathroom. The best hairdryer I had on vacation!

6/10 Good

Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast, comfortable room. The only issue, but a big issue was that we couldn't sleep. Very noisy outside, which is expected in a city on a Saturday night but the rooms arent soundproofed at all! We were on the 4th flor and could still hear alot of noises, even with earplugs!! Nit sure i coukd stay again, although beautifull if yiu cant sleep then theres no point in booking as a hotel
