Fabulous gem of a hotel, we had a wonderful weekend at The Bath Hotel. Staff are amazing!

Wonderful stay in one of my favorite places.

All of the staff we encountered could not have been more helpful and cordial to us. The morning breakfast was wonderful!

Fantastic room

Fantastic room with sea view made for a magical stay, we added an extra night as it was so good. Loved the fresh milk in fridge to make hot drinks & the breakfast was lovely. Staff were all lovely, especially the young gentleman serving breakfast & the hotel is perfectly located in centre of Lynmouth.

Great location, comfort and service

This is not only a lovely hotel in a great location. The young team go out of their way in every regard: great, local food in their restaurant, very comfy bed and rooms, and the small things which make a difference: I note for example their sustainability efforts: biscuits and condiments in the room in refillable glasses, same with bathroom stuff (including toilet paper by ‘who gives a crap’), fresh milk in a fridge on the landing - no plastic or waste anywhere. Why can’t all hotels follow?

Quirky hotel with beautiful decor.

Lovely quirky hotel. Staff were fab. Food was lovely and best mussels I’ve had, beating many good French restaurants. Bed was slightly uncomfortable as sloping a bit one way and a pillow menu would be good as I prefer really soft down ones. Good hot showers and loved the windows opening wide as sleep with fresh air even in winter so suited us well. Loved the lounge to sit in quietly as well on a drizzly day. 10/10

Simply a nice place to stay.

Third time this year we have stayed here so far. One of our favourite places to stay and never disappoints. rooms are all unique, staff welcoming, food excellent, location so nice in the heart of England's little Switzerland. Great for Dogs, good food, good beers, and picturesque.

The decor of this Victorian building is superb. From the floor tiles and reception rooms decorated in the style of the era. Our bedroom modern and very clean. All the staff were lovely and we were allowed to park in the private parking, a real bonus! The breakfast was superb.

10/10 Exceptional

The staff were very friendly both in reception and in the dining room. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh choices. The bedroom was a little dark but cozy and comfortable. The room was made up clean and tidy every day. It was lovely and quiet at night.
Veronica, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Loved the boutique decor and quirky nature of the building. The setting is perfect, right by the waterfront. Parking is a bit of an issue, so don't come back to the hotel until 4 pm, when parking is better ( fewer daytrippers). Bed was hard and pillows were not very comfortable, but that was only my taste. Breakfast was very good with a nice buffet and choices for cold and hot cooked food.

Lynmouth Anniversary

Bijou but perfectly formed and very comfortable. We mentioned the curtain rail was coming away from the wall and they were on it. The food and service was fantastic. We ate in the pub next door both nights and were very pleased with the standard of the food. The only critique was the meat pie, although tender and full of meat, it was very dry as though under a heat lamp for a while. The staff were super helpful and friendly. It is slightly more pricey than some hotels but the view and position contribute to this. A quality small hotel and would go again.
Leslie, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Hotel was slightly disappointing as the pictures on the website make it look very different. Not what we expected so would not return.
Emma, 1-night trip

Wonderful hotel and setting.

The Bath Hotel is definitely recommended. In the heart of Lynmouth, it provides a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Our room was comfortable and clean, overlooking the river mouth and sea.
Stuart, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice cosy hotel

Nice cosy and friendly hotel with pub, good breakfast, attentive staff, allows dogs hence we stayed there. Only two negatives…small very firm double bed not king size, and pub/restaurant didn’t serve food until 18:30 in the evenings.
Trent, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

NO LIFT

The major problem we found with this hotel was that we were on the second floor but there was no lift. Everything had to be carried up 2 flights of stairs.
Norman, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very nice hotel run by nice people. The bed and the room (we had a suite) was a little small, but we got used to it. We had our own parking which was very convenient. Breakfast was well prepared and good service.

Lovely room and comfortable accommodation, central to Lynmouth with lovely restaurant on site. Would recommend and hope to return soon 😁
Fiona, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

A used towel was left in the room. The bathroom door is below the normal door height, subsequently l banged my head more than once. There should be signage above the doorway advising this. The breakfast for us was below average, the cooked elements were left far too long in there metal heat dishes.
