We loved our stay here. Very reasonable but still a lovely hotel and the staff were all very friendly and efficient.
An easy walk into the city, just over the bridge and through the park.
I would highly recommend here to anyone.

Arundel House is located right on the River and across from beautiful Jesus Green. Everything is within easy walk-able distance, but you're just outside the crowded center.
The hotel is a little down at the heels but has a lot of old fashion charm. The only real draw back was that both wifi and (for us) cellular were poor in our room.
Still, we would stay again, the location was great.

Really outdated, poor continental breakfast or upgrade £12 for a full English (that doesn’t even have black pudding)

Hotel handily placed for amenities - park, river, access to city centre, pubs shops etc.
continental breakfast had good and varied selection. Food and beverages were fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Third floor corridor has a step down which is almost invisible when carrying luggage due to patterned carpet. A sign or visible strip would be a good safety feature.

Rooms were clean and well appointed- including a much appreciated teapot! Only downside was the double room was on the small side.

Building is dated. No lift at the property. Hotel is on main road so is quite noisy with the window open. Breakfast was disappointing

The accommodation was really close to the city centre - the room was spacious a- it might have looked a little dated but nonetheless it was clean and tidy - would definitely use again

Hotel is extremely run down and it feels dirty and grotty. The whole place needs doing up.
The staff although friendly could barely speak English and some were not helpful.
Our room was in the gods and we could not get hot water.
We did eat in the restaurant and the steak we had was beautiful.

Very nice old building with lots of original featues, lovely airy conservatory for breakfast, a bit misleading in photos of full english but only continental included in price, full english is an extra 12.50 pp, plus 18 pp for parking is a bit steep. Otherwise lots of stairs to our room on third floor as we were right in the eaves, so for those with mobility issues always best to check to be put on ground floor, also stairs down to restaurant/breakfast room, we had an enjoyable stay.

Our visit started off with a bit of a bumpy start with a room that was cramped, non functioning toilet and lacked a shower. The other challenge could be the lack of lifts to various floors leading to issues with baggage. However, the staff quickly assisted us with better accommodations for our 2 week stay. We enjoyed both breakfast and evening dining options at Arundel as well as nearby restaurants along Bridge street. We walked everywhere but taxi service was promptly arranged when requested. Internet access was consistent around the property and freely available. Coming from a Caribbean island based on tourism we appreciated the friendliness, courtesy and readiness of staff to assist when approached.

I liked the flexibility of where you could eat in a morning or evening. The staff were friendly. There was a very small amout of staff sometimes the wait to be seen by reception or at the bar was longer than i would have expected . The room i has was clean and tidy facilities overall were good .

Great location, opposite Jesus Green though on a busy road which meant road noise. We booked a large twin. I’m not convinced we got this as our room did not look like the pictures and was more of a small twin, even though I checked with reception. Hmmm! Very clean and nice fluffy towels. Hot day and we were on the top floor - it was almost unbearably hot.

The hotel is in a decently convenient area but is extremely outdated, it feel like a WW2 experience.
It was the cheapest option and I got what I paid for. The staff were lovely! The room was acceptable (though rather hot as the window was too small to have any effect haha) the continental breakfast was fitting to the rest of the experience...
Overall, I'd stay stay again in a pinch... But I'd hapilly pay 30 quid more for a Premier Inn...

Hotel was ok but wouldn't go back, location a little far out for us, I think the £18 carpark for one day was a rip off
