So many great things about this place, then some not-so great. First of all, the staff was always helpful. The complimentary coffee and muffins were nice. The location itself deserves a 5-star rating. The beds were super clean and comfortable. The other facilities in the (standard) room not so much. The rooms are dated, for sure, but clean. After tent camping for several days, I was looking forward to a real shower. A downer was that shower was either scalding hot or snow-melt cold. I mentioned it to the gentleman at the front. He said, I needed to play with it a bit. So I did, but being in a drought, I didn't want to mess with it too much. So cold shower it was. There was NO coffee pot as stated in the description and in pictures, certainly no phone either. The door handle to get into the building that lead to the standard rooms was really finnicky and would "stick". After several attempts, I got in. I won't even bother mentioning the wi-fi, I expected it to be spotty, it was. It was better IN the room (after 9:00) vs. the balcony. Plus, I was out there to enjoy the surroundings. I get it, it's an old facility. But they also close down for about 6 months a year (after season is over). So with that time, couldn't upgrades/repairs be made to the rooms/building? Again, the location is top-notch. For that alone, I would return.
