Worst service at the restaurant for lunch, our room was dark and humid. We didn’t appreciate the stay we switched for another hotel. The positive point is the hotel is directly downtown, near everything and frontdesk service really good. I would not give more than 4 stars

Poorly maintained property. The condition of the property has deteriorated over the years. Air conditioning does not work properly. Staff are unpleasant to deal with. I was a regular customer to this resort but definitely would not be returning after this trip.

We unfortunately had a terrible stay at this hotel! As 2 woman travelling together my sister and I felt very unsafe as there were large groups of men also staying and they were very inappropriate towards us and there is not a security presence at the hotel to discourage this. We also found animal droppings in our bathroom and the room wasn’t very clean. The Wi-Fi did not work for a large proportion of our stay and room the staff a long time to acknowledge this and deal with the issue.

Worst experience

I am very disappointed with the room they have provided me. It was very humid and even the door handle when we entered the room was fully wet with water drops. The passage area was very wet and slippery and there were no windows or balcony. It was very suffocating so we decided not to take the room and we checked out without staying at the hotel. We booked hotel for 3 nights and after many emails hotels.com was able to get us refund half the booking amount.

I felt like a rock star. I was greeted and instead of checking in at reception I was taken to my room and it was done there. I was welcomed by a plate of chocolates. With my Unity card, I had a choice of freebies. I chose a welcome drink and got a bucket of FOUR beers. Woo hoo. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. Highly recommend

All was excellent except for a problem during a birthday dinner where the live food was cold and labelled inappropriately. I did make a complaint at the time which I was told would be investigated, however i had to chase the outcome multiple times. Nikki one of the managers was very good however the other manger wouldn't let me speak and continually spoke over me. I was given a resolution of 15% off food and beverage which the other persons in my group already had and when I told management that this wasnt satisfactory they refused to give me an alternate resolution. I work in radio and i am an influencer and I was looking forward to telling my followers and listeners about the great 50th birthday trip to hard rock hotel. All other aspects were fantastic from the breakfast to the room cleaning it was just the Tonic bar and food there that let the hotel down.
